Narcosees, Fulton's, or WCC

I know, crazy question right?

I am trying to plan dinner at our final night of our 9 night/10 day stay at Disney. We already have ressies at the Jiko, the California Grill, and the Brown Derby. Jiko will be a romantic dinner for my dh and I and for the other dinners we will be bringing my girls, 5 and 7.

I thought DTD might be nice since we don't have that planned in our trip. Is this stuff for them to do? Do you think a 5 and 7 year old will be entertained enough at DTD??

I really wanted to try Narcosees, so perhaps dinner there and on to the parks would be better for their age group.

Then again, we are staying at WL and we won't have tried WCC. Perhaps after eight nights staying in at the resort might be nice.

We are on the DP, but all of our credits with be gone so that is not a consideration. The Fulton's menu looks great to me, but I am concerned about keeping my girls entertained that night. I think they will be bored after 15 minutes of shopping.

Suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated. Or if there is someplace else you would recommend, bring it!

I think all of those restaurants would be good-your kids might like Whispering Canyon because it is fairly loud and interactive. Or, you might hate it because it's your final night and you're tired.;)

And that right there is my dilemma. Will eating on a big boat and being at DTD after all we have done been enough or them or would WCC and the water parade from the beach be a good wind down. My kids have been on vacation, but never one as overstimulating as this so I am just unsure of what shape they will be in at this point.

I should mention that this is our first trip to Disney and we don't have any set in stone plans earlier that day.

I'd go for any place to eat at DTD. There is a lot of shopping, but there are a lot of stores in the Marketplace section. There's a Lego store, and Once Upon a Toy has build your own Mr. and Mrs Potato Head (and a large play table for that purpose) and also build your own light saber. There's a lot to see there too - like the Christmas store.

If you really wanted to stay in, WCC has pretty good food (not the greatest but not the worst either) but they do fun stuff with the kids, like having the kids all grab ketchup for the tables, and parades and such. It's a really loud noisy meal, but kids seem to like it.

DTD has TONS of stuff for kids. Mine LOVE it there, much more than just shopping! Let me tell ya ;) I'd go with Fultons if that appeals to you the most! Your girls are going to have such a WONDERFUL time and will talk about your trip to Disney for many, many years to come!

You can eliminate WCC right off the bat.

Fultons has the better menu certainly, but Narcoossee's has a better atmosphere. The fireworks and the water parade are entertaining...

I agree with Uncleromulus. WCC wouldn't even blip my radar, that's how bad it is.

Although the food is a bit better at Fulton's I'd choose Narcoosees due to the age of your children. They would definitely enjoy it more than going to DTD.

I think looking at all the stuff at Downtown Disney is fun! Fulton's has a great menu and is a great option.

If the kids love Cinderella's Castle... it's awesome to eat dinner while being able to see the Castle out the window. Also they pipe in the music for Wishes and you can see the water parade there too. If they're Castle and Fireworks fans... go with Narcoossee's.

For your last night, I would make a res at WCC but just see how the trip is going and what everyone feels like doing. You can decide that morning what you're doing for the day and cancel your reservation if you'd rather do something else. They may prefer more park time and you could just grab a counter service meal. I would eliminate DTD for the final night just bc it's nothing compared to everything else you'll see. It's nice for a mid-trip park break but might not be the best farewell.

My dds (9,6) have a great time at DTD and really like the food at Fulton's. There are lots of shops, music, etc. It seems more relaxed at Fulton's as well, but service and food are excellent. Last time, I had the King Crab Claws - amazing.

WCC wasn't any better than many of the bbq fast food chains there are out there. I would suggest Fulton's or Narcoosee's. I hear Narcoosee's is beautiful and really an awesome place.

Thanks for all of the feedback. Perhaps I will make a reservation at Narcosees and then if we feel like going to DTD, I can try to get something at Fulton's once we are there. I was only considering WCC because it would be fun for the girls and I was thinking it might be nice to have a more relaxed resort day. Honestly, we are doing HDDR and the SOA so we will have our fill of family style BBQ and grilling.

If we want to see the electrical parade and fireworks at Narcosees, what time should I try to get reservations for? Is 7:30 good? Is it hard to get a table with a good view?

We liked appies and desserts at Narcoossee's but not the entrees. WCC made us nauseaus, the food was gross. Been to Fultons 8 times and it is always excellent so I would go with that
