Can anyone give me some info on Narcoossee's? We want to try it for the first time in September. How is the food? Is it worth 2 credits? Any information will be greatly appreciated!:)

We don't do the food plans so I can't relate well concerning the TS credits, but Narcoossee's is still pretty high on our list of favorites paying OOP. We have been eating there since it first opened and always had good food and service.

We went twice last year & plan on going back in August. The food/service was great & IMO they have the BEST dessert on property--almond crusted cheesecake.. :lovestruc  :lovestruc

We enjoyed it, there is a whole post about our experiences in the dining review (May of 2011) in my siggie! (I like photos)

I'll preface my answer by saying Narcoossee's is one of my favorite Signatures. I've gone several times and the food and service have always been exceptional. I would highly recommend it.

Depending on when you're having dinner, you can also watch Wishes/HalloWishes and the electric water pageant from Narcoossee's. You can watch from your table or go out on to the veranda. They dim the lights in the restaurant and pipe in the music.

Regarding the dining plan, it really depends on what you're planning to order. If you're going to order relatively inexpensive items, then none of the Sigs are a really good use of two credits. If you're ordering an expensive item (like the lobster or surf and turf), then it's an okay use of two credits.

OK - so I know I am kind of alone on this, but I do not like Narcosse's. Anymore at least. The first time we went there (in 2007, I think?) we liked it. Not loved it (as, say, we loved the California Grill, the Wave or even Yak and Yeti)...but then we went back the next year and it was very bad. The steak was insanely tough, the lobster was meh and the service? AW-FUL. The waitress came over to our table only to bring food. Never once asked if we needed anything. She focused squarely on the kid-less table next to us.

I would much rather eat at California Grill for my two dining credits.

Oh and of course...mileage may vary. I know others love it. Just wanted to share my experience.

I loved it and so did my 5 year old son. I will return for sure if we ever use the dining plan again :)

We first dined here on Mother's Day last year and let's just say that we have another ADR for our next trip . We really liked this restaurant, and yes it is definitely worth the 2 credits. We have a 7:30pm ADR and are hoping to see Wishes too :goodvibes.

IMO it is the worst of Disney's signatures and I've dined at all of them several times. Fifteen years ago this was a lovely place to have dinner but now I rank it as an upscale Red Lobster.

It's a great dollar value on the dining plan if you want to get the lobster or surf and turf. However, the quality of lobster is poor. Since we don't do a dining plan, this is the last signature on my list for both food quality and atmosphere. I can somewhat see the appeal if you have younger children because it does offer nice views which would help keep the kiddos entertained but as an adult only group, I find Narcoosees falls short.

This adult only party loves it! I also prefer Wishes there rather than CG.

Not a fan of Narcosseess based on poor service and food (non seafood) was just OK. We were on DP when we went there. Personally I would do Artist Point or Calif Grill first. But like all the restaurants we may have hit it on a bad night.
