I had reservations for The Yachtsman, but am starting to change on that. The lobster sounds so good at Narcoossee's & it looks like we will be eating nothing but steak. We will be having lunch on Saturday at Le Cellier & Dining at either Yachtsman or Narcoossee's on Sunday. Our trip isn't until Sept, but I don't want to hold these reservations until the last minute.

Anyone? :confused3

I think Yachtsman is better than both Le Cellier and Narcoosees. The lobster at Narcoosees is the worst I've ever had. Some of their fish dishes are nice but I am so not impressed with their lobster.

Having eaten at all three of the restaurants in question, I'm going to say take Narcoossee's over Yachtsman. Our meal was much better at Narcoossee's than the one we ate at Yachtsman.

Yachtsman is my least favorite signature. The food is rather plain, and the atmosphere doesn't compete with Narcoossee's incredible lagoon view.

We ate at the Yachtsman in Feb 11 and it was a million times better than Narcoossees which we ate at in Nov 10

Both reviews and pics are in my threads.

I am looking at these as well. We've eaten at Yachtsman, but it was a few years ago. We liked the food, but I can't remember if it was amazing.

The most important thing is that the only thing my daughter remembers from the Yachtsman is some sort of puzzle dessert, or some special kids dessert. Does anyone know what I am talking about, and does Narcoossee's have something like that too?

It could be that she is getting it confused with Artists Point that did have a puzzle that you painted.

We had dinner at both places this week and they yatchmen is much better in my opinion. The filet mignon and porterhouse were sooo good. The lobster at Narcosees was soo chewy and I eat alot of lobster and it was not that good there. Maybe it was an off day. The salad app at Yatchman is really good too.

We had dinner at Yachtsman SH on 5/1/11 and honestly, it was the best steak (I had the filet, two other diners at our table had the ribeye) of our lives. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful and though expensive, it was worth it to us. I've never eaten at Narcoosee's, so I can't help you there but I will tell you to beware of Le Cellier. I'd finally gotten reservations for dinner for 4 on this trip and though I opted out because I wasn't feeling well, my husband and the rest of our party said that what you see online and if you have any of the Disney dining iPhone apps, is not what is reflected as available and current on their menu, the service wasn't wonderful and the food is priced at least $10.00 more on this menu than on menus in the past or what you would think is their current menu. If you're looking for a good steak, skip Le Cellier. I was also told by my traveling party that although they were turning people away at the check in desk and we know how hard it is to get a table there, there were plenty of open tables throughout the duration of their dinner. It's not worth the hype..

Le Cellier changed its dinner to a signature experience on March 1st. The new menu has been online since the beginning of March.

Lunch is still exactly as it was before, and the OP is going for lunch.

We werent overly impressed with Narcosse last Sept. The service was incredible but the food didnt live up to the hype to us. I ordered the whole steamed lobster b/c I was told it would be more tender then just the tails.. It came with a absolutley amazing pasta dish and some grilled asparagus. The only edible part of my whole lobster was the claws..

My DH had the twin filets and lobster tail and his was better. The redeeming points for this meal were: the amazing almond encrusted cheesecake, the complimentary wine toast of Disney Magicale for our anniversary and the view of Wishes from Narcossee Deck..

We thought CG was much better and booked it again for this Sept..

We have never been to Le Cellier, so I wanted to try it. I would never book it for dinner since it has changed to a Signature.

I was hoping for some good seafood, but am very picky. I don't like most fish & the only shellfish that I like is lobster & shrimp.

Keep the suggestions coming. I really appreciate the help! :thumbsup2

Yachtsman. We had dinner (with friends) at Narcoossee's last Sunday--perfectly ordinary in every respect.
