Okay, we are staying at the GF. I can't decide where to eat our last nights meal. At first I thought I'd go with Narcoossee's since it was at our hotel, but then I read some threads that said Shula's has the best steaks on property. This is supposed to be our last trip for awhile (5th since Nov 2003) so I am trying to eat at all the restuarants I've either loved or always wanted to eat at. So please give me your opinions of these two restuarants and help me decide.

Thanks
Shelly

I have eaten twice at Schula's and will never step foot in the door again. Both times the service was so full of attitude that it ruined our meals. Granted this was 2 women and we are both in the restaurant business so we are fully aware that we are not the most desirable table to get ( little did either waiter know what a fabulous tip he missed out on!!) but we also know never prejudge your customer!!Food was hard to enjoy in this setting, we gave it a try the second time thinking maybe it was a fluke. Narcoosee's on the other hand has been a wonderful experience each time we have eaten there( 5 or 6), with DH and DS and also the same woman (best friend).Food is very good, service sometimes better than others but never bad or full of attitude (Gary was our waiter a couple of times, he was fabulous!!).We have watched Wishes from the deck and also watched an impressive lightning show one night and so nice to just walk back to your room after a great dinner!! Also ate at BlueZoo at the Dolphin, it was my best dining experience at WDW (Flying Fish used to be a favorite but feel it has slipped a bit). BlueZoo was perfect in every way, from the hostess seating us , servers and the food were maybe one of the meals ever!! ::MinnieMo

Wow, no votes for Shula'a yet?? I read such good things in earlier posts. Does it matter that neither DH or I are terribly fond of fish? Narcoossee's would be easier. Thanks for the help so far.

We too found Shulas service to be "un-WDW-like". Correct, but not friendly at all. The restaurant does have a "mens club" feel to it. The steak however, is excellent.
Never had a steak at Narcoosee's, but if steak is a primary concern, there is always the Yachtsman Steakhouse..

I can agree that Narcooses is one of our favorite places to eat and certainly convenient if you are staying at the GF. In fact because we have not stayed there recently, we haven't been back there in some time. It is great to catch the fireworks or the Electric Water Pagent. We like the atmosphere (though a bit noisy) and the service has always been great.

We are trying Shula's this time because we are staying at the Swan and my DH loves steak. We ate at the Yachtsman Steakhouse in April and enjoyed that.

I do not think you will go wrong either way.

Narcossee's ---- the atmostphere of being on the seven seas lagoon, watching the electric water pageant and the service is top notch! .Also it is a wonderful way to end your trip, as after dinner you can walk the grounds and enjoy one last look at Cinderella Caste.
Shula's is not tops on our list. We much prefer the Yachtsman Steakhouse - again the atmosphere is better!
