Narcoossees or Citricos?

Which one do you prefer and why? Trying to decide.

With kids, Narcoosees. Adults only, Citricos.

Reasons for this: Narcoosees is a beautiful restaurant that sits on the lagoon. The views out the windows are great and kids would enjoy that so much more; watching boats go by and if timed correctly, they can also see the Electric Water Parade and Wishes.

Citricos, not much going for theming or atmosphere but has a more sophisticated menu. I enjoy the price fixe menu and wine pairing.

Both have good food.

Oh!! I love Narcoossee's - it is top of my list (surf & turf-my mouth is watering now). Never been to Citrico's, but we go to Narcoossee's twice every trip.

We like 'em both very much. It's pretty much a toss up - I'd give Narcoossee's the atmosphere edge and Citrico's the food quality edge.

Narcoossee's: more casual, louder (lots of wood so acoustics aren't great), lovely view. More families, if that matters to you. Almond cheesecake is my favorite dessert at Disney!

Citrico's: more "formal" (in the Disney way, not the real world way). Service is usually more attentive. Our kids were the only ones there - adrs at 6 p.m. - until the very end of the meal. In fact, the place was not half-filled so I think it is much easier to snag a last-minute adr here. Food, from appies to dessert, is consistently a small notch above Narcoossee's, I think.

Citricos.

One of the fine dining experiences at Disney...it all about the food and service. It is a kid friendly restaurant, but don't expect characters and other gimmicks to entertain them like you find in most other Disney restaurants.

I prefer Citrico's--better food and more adult atmosphere. Narcoossee's has the view.

Can't disagree with most here - Citrico's is an underappreciated gem and has IMHO some of the best food on Disney property, but it's not really a place I'd go with kids.

My wife and I enjoy Citrico's. If you have children, Narcoossee's is probably better. They have a nice view of the fireworks.

Narcoossee's is where we ate for Christmas eve dinner, I had the boiled maine lobster that I love and Christmas dinner we ate at Citricos and had the fillet of beet ( I think that is what it is called) it melted in your mouth, I almost licked the plate right down to the pumkin cheescake:)
