Narcoossee's or Citricos - any opinion on what one is better?
Can only fit one or the other in on next our trip.
I’ve never been to either so experienced opinion would be great.

And how about viewing the fireworks from either - can you see them?

Havent been to Citricos, but my in-laws love it. We LOVVVVEEEEEE Narccoosses! You can see the fireworks from it and they have the hands down best dessert in all of WDW.....Almond Crusted Cheesecake!

We dine at both of these restaurants every time we visist WDW. I love them both. Narcoossee's is more seafood oriented, but does have other items for non-seafood eaters. Citrico's is Meditteranean (sp?) style food with a fairly equal selection of meat and seafood. You can see the fireworks easily from Narcoossee's, either from your table or on the deck outside. If you like a really good wine selection, I would give the edge to Citrico's for that. I love the veal shank at Citrico's, but I love all the seafood I have had at Narcoossee's. I think that Citrico's has the more elegant atmosphere; Narcoossee's is more laid back. We were at Narcoossee's for New Years Eve and had the best food we have ever had there. You should note that Citrico's is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays.

thanks
looking for a compare and contrast thing so we can break the tie

We are going to dine at Narcoossee's next week, hopefully we can see fireworks from there too. How far is the walk from GF parking lot?

If you're walking from the GF self-park lot, I'd estimate that it's close to a quarter-mile from the parking lot to the main building and then a comparable distance through the resort to the building where Narcoossee's is located. We now use the DDE card, so we valet park for the cost of the tips, but have done the walk a number of times previously.

We are back! We (especially my parents) love Narcoossee's! We were on Dining Plan and Amer was our server. He told us that there are no restrictions on items you can order, even for non-alocholic beverages. DW orders mango milkshake, and my mom orders pineapple juice.

DW and my dad orders whole marine lobsters, and they liked that a lot! My surf and turf was also great, the filet is comparable with Le Cellier!

We saw the wishes from Patio, also saw the special "lighting effect" (?) on the boats. The dinner was quite time consuimg, we were seated around 7:30pm and leave around 10:15pm.

About parking - we were too silly and made a mistake twice - we kept skipping the self-park lot on the left of GF, and the road leads us out of the resort. I feel bad talking to the security again, so we parked on the self-park area across the street, which was quite far away.

I think Citrico's is a "better" restaurant as far as food and service are concerned. Our last meal at Narcoossee's had some food and service issues--alto I must say prior to that all our dinners there were just fine.
Maybe the fireworks view item should break the tie?? Wonderful view from the deck right outside Narcoossee's!!
