on dining plan, so all costs the same to me. so, which is better, especially if i am looking for seafood?

We like Narcoosees better. The view is nice, the food is good as is the service. Also, the food isn't as wierd as that at CG.

as they are both wonderful choices. I would pick Narcoosee's, with CA Grille a close second.

WOW, I'm glad you posted this question. My DH, and I have this scheduled for our anniversery dinner w/o kids.

We just returned from 10 days on the meal plan. Ate at both places, and the prices for Narcoose's was much higher, seafood much better. California grill was noisy, and I didn't care for the food. We both had whole Maine lobster at Narcoose's, appetizer of soup, and key lime creme brulee (spelling) for dessert with two soft drinks - bill was $177!

Narcoosee's sounds nice, but what do they feed vegetarians? I saw that on allearsnet.com the menu says "Vegetarian Menu Available Upon Request". I'm not picky, but I prefer to know what I'd be getting into. I haven't been to either restaurant, but right now I'm thinking we'll go to California Grill on our trip in January.

Since you're most interested in seafood, Narcoossee's might be a better choice as that is their specialty. If you're interested in sushi however, CG is your place.

We love both restaurants. Both have great views although very different.

So when you go to Narcoossees, is their a good view of Wishes? Or can you go out to a beach or something and watch wishes after the meal. I'm between the these two restaurants as well, but I was wanting CG to see wishes although the food at Narc. sounds better.

Bumping to see if anybody has any comments about this?

We actually like the view of Wishes better from Narcoossee's than from CG...it is more centered around the castle while the view from CG is to the side. It is a low view as opposed to a high view of course.

In the old days, you could see the fireworks well from the tables but most nights now it sounds as if people go out on the porch to see so the view from the tables is blocked. Easy to walk out though.

Is there a beach around there to watch wishes from? Everyone is always talking about seeing wishes from the beach at Poly, so I thought this could be kind of like doing that.

Honestly the only place you can really appreciate Wishes is from inside the Magic Kingdom. I wouldn't base my dinner PS on seeing it.

If I'm seeing Wishes in the park on another day is it even worth trying to see from the beach elsewhere? I keep hearing how romantic it is  and it is our honeymoon.
