Narcoossee's or Cali Grill for special honeymoon dinner?

I'd just like to say "thanks" to everyone who offered their helpful opinions to me

We're still in the early planning stages of the honeymoon, but it's never too early to start! I'll have to sit down with DF and go over the 3 choices (CG, Narcoosees and V&A). I'm sure where ever we decide to go, it'll be magical!

Also, have you considered Citricos? Haven't eaten there but have heard it's good!

we went to both narcoosee's and cali grill this august. both have great views of the fireworks (we had a window seat at narcoosee's and i literally looked at mainstreet and the castle throughout dinner) the service was poor though...we had a horrible waitress who really couldn't care less if she gave great service or not. the food was really good though...my husband had the filet and i had the scallops. the artisian cheeses app was yummy too...especially if you're enjoying some wine. that being said...we enjoyed cali grill a great deal more. the service was AWESOME even the bartender was very informative and super friendly. we ate very late that night at cali...around 10pm. many of the smaller children were gone and it was mostly adults. the vibe was much cooler and more metropolitan than anything else i've experienced at disney (we're from s.fla..kinda felt like a restaurant back home) we're big sushi eaters and it was some of the best we've had..EVER..hands down.

I would have to vote for Narcoossees 100%. I have been to both and I must say that while Cali Grill has a great view, we weren't too impressed with their food. Narcoossees has better food, atmosphere and presentation.

Citrico's is a nice and relatively quiet spot.
If you do go CG and want to see the fireworks, try for an ADR about an hour before the show. And be prepared for a ton of kids.
For a more quiet meal, go there just at opening, or after the fireworks when the mob departs.

Cali Grill by far!!!!!!! Food was excellent as my DSIL is a gourmet cook and he enjoyed the food and desserts at the CG better than anyplace else.

Df and I talked at great lengths last night about this big debate. He thinks (and wants) we should do Cali Grill. He thinks we should go with our first choice. And....if it's good enough for a gourmet chef, it's good enough for me!
