We are staying at the GF, so Narcoosse's would be easy, but Artist Point sounds great too. Can't decide between the two.

I don't find AP any better than Narcoossee's to make the trip.

However, Wilderness Lodge is lovely (second best themed resort after Animal Kingdom Lodge), so you've asked a reasonable question.

But if you're paying the premium to stay at GF, I'm not sure I'd be taking an hour of vacation time to go to AP, especially since you get a fireworks view from the GF (and inside/outside Narcoossee's).

If it matters, it will be Thanksgiving Week so might be worth the trip to see the holiday decorations at WL?

Hands down Artist Point. We've eaten there several times and the food and service are fantastic. We just ate there again in December and it was our best meal there yet and best meal of our trip. WL is also absolutely gorgeous at Christmas time. If you don't want to monorail/boat to WL, you could always uber/lyft/Minnie Van over there as well.

We've had two expensive, disastrous meals at Narcoosee's and won't eat there again.

It's worth the trip to AP just to see the decorations at the Lodge. You'll get wildly varying opinions on any restaurant (I just gave a thumbs down on another thread to a restaurant most people enjoy). I agree with JZ that the quality of food might be a wash, but getting the chance to see the Lodge during the holidays is a special treat. I also agree with DisneyWishes that the food and service at AP is generally superb, and it has a lovely ambiance, as well. You can walk around the grounds after dinner where it's very romantic, and even catch the higher blasts from the MK fireworks at Geyser Point (music piped in).

Honestly the best meal i've ever had at disney was at AP, hands down. I make it a point to go there every trip. Outstanding food and service. Totally worth the money! :cloud9: I highly recommend it!

My vote is for Narcoossess - it's always the best meal of our trip to WDW.

Also, I personally like to take advantage of dining I'm the resort that I'm staying at - less running around and I like to spend time exploring the resort. I think it's so expensive to stay at a deluxe resort , so I want to be able to spend time there considering what we've paid to stay there. :o

I love questions with no wrong answers!

Both are good choices and you won't be disappointed. I'd pick by looking at the menu and deciding which sounds better to me. The only other consideration might be the trade off between the slightly more inconvenient trip to WL for Artist Point which may be offset by the chance to explore this beautiful resort.

We’re also staying at GF, and wrestled with this decision (but also included Citricos.)

We ended up booking Artist Point. We’ve had better meals and service there than Narcooseeses.

Just got back from a stay at GF and loved Narcoossees!

I really enjoyed the menu and watching HEA, great view.

Resort Hopping with Holiday Decorations is a favorite pastime of many Disney guests.

Personally, I'd still be eating at Narcoossee's - because you always have the option of going to WL. I would not commit myself to having to go back-n-forth by having a reservation at AP.

But if the menu at AP seems better for your tastes, then that moves the calculus.

There is no 'right' or 'wrong' answer. It's a matter of what is 'right' for you and your family.

This year will be our third WL vacation, we dined at AP on our first stay, and loved it, however on our second trip, it turned out to be a poor experience, my sons steak which we ordered medium/well done had blood pouring out onto his plate, extremely rare, and our server wasn't happy we complained, our wine we ordered wasn't available and when we got another choice of white wine, it arrived not chilled, but warm, another complaint to our server, and to cap it off, my wife's wine glass had lipstick on the rim, and she doesn't wear lipstick..
I'm sure our server was glad to see the back of us..lol...We have only dined at Narcoossees once, two years ago, and was outstanding..This year is another 14 night stay but I'm leaving out AP but booking Narcoosses ..
