We will be heading down September 6-15 for our honeymoon. We arrive at 5:50 on Saturday night. We wanted to eat somewhere quiet/romantic that's outside of the parks, and this seems to be the place.

Do you think a 9 pm reservation gives us enough time from the airport/check in/resort travel, etc. They have 9-10 open in 15 minute increments.

Our rule of thumb is that it will take 3 hours from arrival at MCO to starting the "fun part" of our vacation, but even then we wouldn't make a dining reservation less than 4 hours after arrival. We allow 90 minutes from landing to arriving at the resort. On average it takes 60-70 minutes, but there have been times when deplaning is very slow, there's a wait on the bus and 2-3 resort stops before ours. Check in usually goes quickly, but sometimes there's a line. You'll also have to allow travel time (45-90 minutes) from your resort to the restaurant unless you're staying at the Grand Floridian. If you are not staying at one of the MK resorts you can take a taxi to save time.

Another thing to keep in mind is planes don't always arrive on time and there are many reasons for a travel delay. If you miss your dinner reservation you will be charged the $10 per person no show penalty.

I've nothing to add to what purple figment said, but... My wife and I had a Disneymoon and our first night's dinner was at Narcoossee's. It was pretty awesome.

We have a reservation there for our Disneymoon too! but we are going the final night of it :)

As Purple Figment mentioned, it'll be close. We factor 1.5 hours from the airport, assuming you are having Disney pick up your luggage, to a Disney resort. 30-60 minutes to check in and get settled in your room, 30 minutes for the busses assuming you will not have a car (I don't know where you're staying, and I'd generally plan longer for busses, but I have padded the rest). So you could potentially make it, assuming there are NO DELAYS. You may want to save that ressie for a less time-crunched night.

Have a great honeymoon!
