I went to Narcoossee's back in October 2014 and back then I thought the surf and turf was a filet and lobster tail. We also went in May 2016 which I believe they did not have the surf and turf on the menu. Now I see the surf and turf is back on the menu BUT it is sirloin NOT filet. Am I remembering incorrectly or when it has been offered on the menu has it always been sirloin? Also do they still have the flavored frozen non alcohol drinks? I remember my son getting a frozen Oreo type drink there but I do not see it on the menu. One last question, can you order a "Candy Bar" to go if you do not have a reservation?

Yes the steak has changed a few times but at one time it was a filet.
I don't know about frozen non-alcoholic drinks, but you should be able to order a dessert in the lounge. It's hard to say if they'd be able to package it to go, but you can eat it there without having a restaurant reservation.

The menu changes throughout the year. It’s somewhat seasonal based on what products, especially seafood. You likely are remembering correctly for a particular menu at a particular time of year. I like a particular dish that only shows up during the fall and am always concerned it will be there when I go. I find Narcoossee’s to be more seasonal than most Disney restaurants.

As for take out, most Disney TS restaurants are not set up for take out.

We at there last fall and the surf and turf was a sirloin. We got it and it was very good.

They don't do takeout but they will serve a dessert in the lounge and if you want it to go, you can wait until it's served and then ask for it to be packed up.

When we had the Candy Bar it was served with a scoop of sorbet which was pretty soft so it started to melt fairly quickly even when we had it in the restaurant. It won't survive being taken elsewhere.

We got the surf and turf a few years ago, maybe 2015, and it was a filet and lobster tail.

Their surf and turf used to be a filet and a lobster tail. You can still put that same meal together if you travel with someone else. One of you can get the filet and one of you can get the whole lobster (which is better than a tail anyway).

That is true. But I tend to resemble the Beast when I eat a whole lobster.

That would be a great idea if some one else in my party liked Lobster beside me lol!!

1) Sirloin is A LOT cheaper than a filet . . . next question?
2) Have to remember, this is included on the DDP.
3) DDP is renegotiated ONLY once per year.
4) If costs change, they have to compensate somehow.

NOTE: DDP-Reimbursements are negotiated
. . . Disney-Owed eateries are in each October
. . . Non-Disney-Owned eateries are in each December.

No, you do not need a reservation for the lounge but you will need to wait there for the item to be served and to pay for it. Plus tip. You can ask to leave off the sorbet if you just intend to take it with you.
