Narcoossee's - how long?

How long is the "average" dining experience at Narcoossee's? We did Yachtman's last year and it didn't seem "too long" (ie - our DD was fine). But I've seen a thread or two talking about 2+ hour dinners, and that probably won't work for us (schedule OR kids).

I'm hoping it's less as I'd like to have some "good" meals on vacation.

Thanks.

I think maybe about an hour for us when we ate there maybe a bit longer but not by much. Some it last longer as they like to spread it out some :goodvibes

Great to hear! We'll look forward to it then. Thanks for the reply!

It would have taken about an hour and 15 mins for apps, wine, entrees, and dessert if we didn't linger. We put our DD in Mickey's Clubhouse for 2 hrs and wanted to enjoy ourselves. Plus we had awesome seats for Wishes and didn't want to lose that spot.

I think it depends a lot on the server and how much you order. If you order, appetizer, main course and desert, I'd plan on a minimum of 1 1/2 hours. That's how long it usually take us and we're there with 2 kids, so they're not rushing you out of there.

That sounds like about the right amount of time. We usually take a bit longer, but we don't have children. I do think servers "hurry" a bit more when there are children involved (small children anyhow). In some circustances (really full restaurant, large group seated just before you, request for a well done steak, etc) it could easily be two hours.

I would agree with 1-1/2 hours, or so. (for us 1-3/4) And for us that included time to watch Wishes. We lingered to see it. Such a nice view of them! :cloud9:

Our was a little over two hours and we had apps, entree, waited for them to find the slipper dessert I ordered dd, and then ordered dessert ourselves. We had excellent service and everything was timed just right. DD was 6 and did great, but she was getting a little tired at the end, but not cranky thank goodness. Had a 5:30 ADR.

thanks for all the replies! I'm on the fence. We're trying not to be on too much of a set schedule this time around, so we're still not sure. But all of this input is very helpful.
