DS preferrs a filet med. rare over a sirloin. Do they still serve the filet on the children's menu at Narcoossee's. Has anyone ordered it and care to share their opinion? On Deb's menu site, it appears this is the only place serving filet for children unless it's been removed.

Thanks
Belle

Not sure if it is there or not, but Narcoossee's is very accomodating. We could hardly get a question finished before our server, Chevy got out the yes. Expect that filet to be prepared just as ordered for DS.

That's so good to know septbaby. DS would just be in heaven if he could get the filet. Whenever he orders the childrens steak at Le Cellars or Yacht Club Steakhouse it is always over cooked and he will not eat it unless it's red.

Just keep in mind that they are required to cook it to a certain temp, so that may force them to not deliver it red...its for his safety.

only ground beef needs to be cooked to a certain temperature.. steaks do not need to be.

Well now you've found me out: I'm a 35yr vegetarian! :lmao: haven't had a steak or ground beef in decades.

My DD had it 2 weeks ago. It was the exact same as DH's, just smaller. She loved it!

Thank you so much.:)
DS was thrilled it's still on the menu and I now have an excuse to order the Maine lobster.
