I wanted to have a nice dinner out one night and we don't have anyone going with us. Our children are 3.5 and 6.5.
It is not bad place for kids but I hope parents would make sure their kids know this is not a character meal & stay in your seats & try not to bother with other guests trying to eat in peace. I don't mind kids but hey it is a nice sit down for people who want to get away from a lot of noise & kids running around tables. Is that too much to ask for? Last time I was there two familes had young kids & all they did was scream & run in & out of their chairs & even knock the CM tray down with someone's food. It wasn't a plesant experience for them well maybe it was as they ignore what their kids were doing. But not for the other guests. Not a blast to parents who take their kids but just to say kids should know it not a place to run wild![]()

We just had our anniversary dinner there last month. I noticed a few very well behaved kids but if you're looking for a QUIET place to have dinner, this is not the place to go. I don't agree with the above statement that "it is a nice sit down for people who want to get away from a lot of noise ". It is far from getting away from noise. As long as you know that going in. If they do get a little cranky, take them for a walk out on the pier which is fascinating for them to see!
I don't disagree but I think it okay for kids don't get me wrong we love the place but I think parents should make sure their kids are not distrubing other guests. Yes if they get cranky take them out for a walk not ignore them while they distrub other guests. I just mention one time we were there what happen. Been three times & the two times the kids were great except for that one time. I didn't mention it was my food that they made the CM drop so I had to wait longer as did my DH. The resturant was describe to me as being a place to get away from all the character meals. But again this is MHO. I been married almost 40 years now. And next year will be 40 years but not going to Disney to celebrate. We did our 25th at the Poly & it was great but it was really 26yrs as my Mother passed away on the 25th so we waited a year as we needed to get things wrapped up with her estate etc.
