We're staying at the GF for a week long trip and am contemplating an ADR at Narcoosees for myself, my wife, and my 8 year old. Been checking out the menu and was wondering if they still offer the surf and turf. Don't see it listed on the disney site. Can anyone confirm?

Am also hoping for some reviews of past experiences there as well. My wife is a seafood lover and I'm a steak kind of guy. Any info would be great.

I am huge fan of Narcoosees for an upscale dining experience at Disney. When we were there last year, I ordered a filet and then added a lobster tail. I cannot recall the cost off the top of my head, but I do remember that being an option for the Deluxe Dining Plan. However, I would assume it is still an option on the regular menu as well.

The food and service has always been top knotch in my opinion, but what sets it apart is watching the fireworks (either before, during, or after your meal - depending on when your ADR is). They pipe in the music, which is such a nice touch!

Hope you enjoy your stay!

As I recall, they have taken the surf and turf off the menu. The lobster tail is now an add-on to any meal you order. I don't think you can get the add-on with your DDP credits anymore. You can pay OOP for the add-on if you wish.

Keep checking the menu. They change the menu seasonally. I love a scallops dish they only have in the fall. It never shows on the menu until near our October vacation.

I can say for certain that the surf and turf was removed this past winter. You can get a steak, or lobster, but not both unless you pay the up charge as PP have mentioned. They will not accept any credits for the enhancements, it is a straight OOP charge. We were on the Deluxe plan and there was no difference. That being said, I would hate for anyone to miss out on this lovely place just because they removed the dish :)

DH and I ate at Narcoossee's this past Thursday. They have added butter poached lobster tails to the entree list, and serve two per plate. I got that; DH got the filet. We each had a lobster tail and shared the filet - it was a perfect amount of food for us, and we both got surf and turf. (We both had a salad to start; me, the beet and him, the romaine.) I would recommend Narcoossee's, even if you're not there for the fireworks.

Simply not only the best meal I've had on property, but one of the best meal's I've had period. You MUST get their almond cheesecake for dessert. My wife had some sort of pasta w/ seafood and I had one of the best pork chops I've ever eaten. I highly recommend it for dinner!

The place is amazing! Also, check out Citricos if have the time. Both restaurants are top notch. Have fun! :yay:

My husband and I are thinking about eating here in November to be able to view the fireworks and enjoy the good food. We are big fans of Ohana and understand that expense, but I wanted to know how big the filet and other entree items are at this restaurant. Looking at the prices, we'd probably be splitting something!

I don't think one entrée is big enough for two average appetite adults to share and be satisfied.
As stated the Surf and Turf combo is no longer available. And the Lobster Tail "enhancement" is only OOP, not on any DDP.

I agree. I'm not a big guy (used to be), but there is no way I would be satisfied with splitting an entree with someone else. :goodvibes

You are also correct on the Surf & Turf. We were just at Narcoosee's a month ago and the Surf & Turf is now gone. There is a lobster tails entree and there is a filet entree, but the combination has been eliminated from the DDP as well as the menu. The lobster tail is an enhancement just as you said. I loved our meal at Narcoossee's (as I always have), but this is another example of why I really dislike the DDP and what it does to the menus (my opinion of course). I no longer use the DDP and instead pay OOP along with TiW.
