Narcoosee's?

I did a search for any new reviews on Narcoosee's. Most that I found were from last year. Anybody been there lately? We've never been there and looking for something different for a night out without DS. Anything positive lately?

Bumping...I'd like to know as well. It's been a long time since we've been there and I've made an ADR for upcoming trip in a few weeks. If no one posts anything, I'll be sure to post a review.

I recently dined there and enjoyed my meal very much. Service was great, in fact our waiter remembered us from the year before. The best part of the meal was dessert...almond crusted cherry cheesecake.....It was OMG Good!

I dined there in Jan. and to be honest I wasn't impressed. The service was extremely slow and the lobster was tough. I'm hoping that I was there on an "off" night.

We had so-so, poor, and miserable service there in that order and will never return.

The final visit we waited almost 45 minutes after we were seated for our appetizers to even appear--this is after we told the server we were in a bit of a rush. We ultimately had our food wrapped to go--about five minutes after the appetizers were on the table they were trying to bring out the entree's. Never again.

We had a wonderful dinner there this past May. We had a group of 10 and we all enjoyed our meal. Service was very good as well. Also, we had no wait.

We had a wonderful dinner there in December. We were seated approximately 20 minutes after we arrived.

Our server was very attentive and helpful. My mother tried a glass of wine which was not quite to her liking and the server immediately offered to replace it and suggested something fabulous.

We all really enjoyed our dinner and my husband specifically requested a repeat visit this December.

Wow! Sounds like 3 strikes you're out! I think 3 times to try a restaurant is more than sufficient to give them a chance. I don't blame you for not going back!

We still haven't decided if we shall try Narcoossee's or not. I'm going to show my DH the menu and see what he thinks. We'd like to try the CA Grill but the whole deposit thing just turns me off. We have a young son and don't wish to be penalized if we have to cancel at the last minute. And with young kids you just never know.

I thought Narcoossee's might be an alternative for our night out without having to plunk down a deposit.

If we decide to go I'll post a review when we get back.

I never ate there, but we are going for our first time. Already made the ADR for the restaurant and for the kids at the Mouseketeer Club. I actually have been dreaming about the lobster, I love lobster, but when I read that it is tough, I wonder if it is worth it. Has anybody else had bad lobster?
