My DH and I had dinner at Narcoossee's last week, and we really enjoyed it. It's a beautiful setting with nice views of the lagoon and Cinderella's castle. The food was good-- not really "foodie" food, more of a nice seafood dinner. I enjoyed the pear and endive salad, lobster and filet mignon (the sauce on the filet was yummy!), and finished with a delicious key lime creme brulee. I also ordered a Raspberry Mojito that tasted soooooooo good. My DH is a mussels fan, so he loved the mussels. He said his ahi tuna was also very good.
We had an ADR for 8:10, but were seated as soon as we arrived at 8:00. It was a
MNSSHP night, so Hallowishes went off at 9:30. We took our coffee out to the porch with us, and watched the fireworks. We could hear all of the music and narration of Hallowishes on the porch with a nice, uncrowded view. This was probably the best part of our evening. Hallowishes was amazing!
My only suggestion is that, if you're driving there, spring for valet. DH parked our rental car himself and it took him forever to meet me at the restaurant. GF self-parking is really far from the main hotel in a dumpy looking parking lot across the street.
Have fun at F&W, too. We were there on a Saturday afternoon around 1, and then again at about the same time on Monday. What a difference! The lines for F&W booths were soooooo long on the weekend, but it was a ghost town on Monday. If at all possible, I'd try to hit F&W during the week for less lines.
Have a magical trip!
