How long start to finish will dinner at N be? I need to be out of there in an hour and 10 minutes. Probably will not get an appatizer. But will get dessert. Can the dessert be to go?

In June, our ADR was for 7:30 pm. We arrived at 7:15 and were told to have a drink by the bar. We sat down, ordered drinks and our buzzer went off! I went to the podium while DH paid for the drinks. We had appetizers, entrees and dessert and were out of there by 8:45 pm. We were not rushed, it was a nice meal.

I would also guess it depends how crowded the restaurant is and how quickly you're seated.

Are you staying at the GF? You can have dinner from Narcoossee's via private dining. DH can't wait to do this on another trip! He wants to eat surf and turf on his balcony!! :thumbsup2

I would tell the waiter up front that you have a time constraint; that way they will know to bring the bill quickly etc....

Oh, no problem!! You are right there footsteps from the marina. If you're a few minutes late, it's not a problem. Our wishes cruise didn't depart on time. We waited about 10 to 15 minutes for them to prep the boat.

I would arrive earlier than your reservation and see if they can take you as soon as you arrive. Tell them that you have to make the cruise. Take your dessert with you. That would be so nice to eat the Almond Crusted cheesecake on the boat!! :cloud9: I only wish I they had "to go" cups for the pressed pot of coffee! It was delish and such a sin to leave any!

Narcoosee's and a Wishes Cruise - what a magical night! Enjoy!

I've never eaten at Narcoossee's, but virtually any kind of steakhouse can get you in and out in less than an hour. A table of 2-4 at a nice restaurant should take right around an hour at a nice pace-not too fast, but not too slow. Obviously, the biggest obstacle is overcoming the initial delay it may be from the time you're seated until the time you are greeted by your server. In most cases, you should be greeted or given some sort of acknowledgement within 2 -3 minutes. If you get over 5 minutes, beware.

Advise your hostess of your time factor and to locate your server if he/she doesn't see you seated. Let him/her know when you need to be out and you should be fine. When your dessert is delivered, give your server the credit card/KTTW/cash. I've been able to get tables turned in 45 minutes with appetizers, salad, dinner, and dessert when you need to.

Narcoossee's is not a steakhouse, it's known for it's seafood.

It is a Signature Restaurant taking 2 table service credits. Most signature restaurants do not rush you out within 45 minutes. It's a dining experience. The location is beautiful. They want you to sit and enjoy your time there.

Honestly, I would keep calling and try to get an earlier ADR. Just 30 mins earlier and you won't have any problems catching the cruise. It's an amazing restaurant, it's not the meal you want to rush.

I would try for an earlier ADR. Then I would try showing up early, you might just get lucky and be seated before your ADR time.

Ditto, I woudn't rush a Narcoossee's meal. I would probably schedult the meal for another night. If you want to eat at GF that night, consider the GF Cafe instead.

I would let them know when you check in that you have to catch the boat. Do you have a large group? It is faster to get to your table with a smaller group. I went with a party of 6. We had ADR's for 7:30, were seated at 9:15, by the time we finished dessert it was well after 11. Getting back to our resort at that point was awful.

The food and atmosphere were worth it though.
