Narcoosee's Question?

Does this restaurant take 2 TS from the DDP? Is it worth using 2 for this?

It is a 2TS restaurant.

As for being worth it, we thought the food was fantastic and in no way feel like we "wasted" 2 credits on it. But, we don't sit down and calculate whether it's worth paying OOP vs. using credits. We had planned to dine offsite one night, so using 2 credits one night wasn't a big deal to us.

I know others will saying that using 2TS credits isn't worth it and you'd be better off paying OOP, but for us, if we didn't have the DDP, we probably never would have eaten there because the bill was over $200 and I just couldn't justify spending that on one meal, but with the DDP, I didn't have to think about it. It was all included.

is it worth it is a value statement that I difficult to judge. but yes it is two table service credits.

We just ate there, and while the food was decent, the service and atmosphere was extremely lacking in our opinion. We had to ask someone for our server, our drink glasses were always empty, waited forever for the desert menu....

we've eaten here a few times and yes, it is worth the 2 TS!!

we had excellent service, the food was great, the view wonderful!

had the crab cakes, scallops, whole lobster - and the best dessert anywhere on disney property (as far as we're concerned!): almond crusted cheesecake

I've never been to Citricos, so I can't say, but I've looked at all the other 2TS restaurants on the DDP and none of the menus appeal to me as much as Narcoossee's does - but that may have to do with the fact that I love seafood and would pass up a steak for seafood in a heartbeat.

Is it better than Citricos?

When I went to WDW this past May, I was on the DxDDP. Not being a big breakfast eater, I chose to do an early TS for lunch everyday, then did a 2 credit Signature meal every night. I dined at Artist Point, Jiko, Flying Fish, Yatchsman, Cailfornia Grill, Citricos, and Narcoosee. We are again on the DxDDP for our Sept 6th-14th trip. The only Signature restaurant I am repeating is Narcoosee.

Citricos is good, but Narcoosee is better, in my opinion. The calamari, surf and turf, and almond cheesecake are still calling my name. I liked my steak at Narcoosee better than the ones I had at Caiflornia Grill or Yatchsman. I don't even remember the dessert I had at Citricos, but am already planning on ordering an extra piece of Narcoosee's almond cheesecake, to take back to the room as a midnight snack.

IMO, Citricos has much better food than Narcoosee's. Neither has a very good atmosphere. Both are busy-noisy.

As far as 2 TB credit restuarants we have done The Yachtsman, Jiko's and Narcoossee's. I would list Narcoossee's as #1, Yachtsman as #2 and Jiko's as #3. WE LOVE NARCOOSSEE'S!!!!
