I know this has been asked before, but I am going to ask again (sorry). My husband and I will be eating at Narcoossee's for our 25th Wedding Anniversary on 11/27/09, and I would like to schedule it so that when we're finished with our meal (or at least close to it) we can watch Wishes. First, can you see Wishes from Narcoossee's? Second, what would be a good time to make the reservation to time our meal to watch Wishes (it seems as though the MK will be open until 10:00 that night)? Thank you for your help/suggestions.

Its a great place to see Wishes as well as the boat parade which we actually like better than anything. Schedule dinner for 7..you won't be sorry. ANd have the Sorbet and Cassis Tea.

Narcoossee's is our FAVORITE restaurant on property! Watching Wishes from there is one of my "must-do's" every trip now! :thumbsup2

Like PP said, around 7pm should be good. You can usually see the Electrical Water Pageant from the deck as well!

Enjoy...the Surf and Turf is delish as well as the Rasberry Mojito! :cloud9:

Happy Anniversary!

and I'm definitely going to be doing it this year, too.

I give it an hour before the schedule time of the F/W to eat or 1-1/4 hours if you want to be on the dock for it. There are a few benches on the dock.

You are quite far a way for the show, but we stilled liked it.

I did this in July and just loved it! We ate our dinner and got to see the water parade. After we finished we went out on the deck and watched Wishes. They dim the lights and pipe in the music. I got teary eyed. It was great!

It was also one of the best meals we had the whole trip. The bread and butter is to die for!!!

We also did this for the first time last year- I think it was somewhere around December 28, 2008, so we were able to catch Holiday Wishes. I would recommend eating 1 hr to 1.5 hours ahead of when the fireworks are supposed to begin. Therefore, you will either be between your entrees and dessert or in the middle of your dessert. Your server should know that you are obviously interested in viewing the fireworks.

You have the option of either watching them at the table. Some tables have an unobstructed view of Wishes. They do dim the lights and pipe the music in; however, I remember the windows having panes so if you do have a view of Wishes, you will have to view the fireworks between the little squares in the window. It's not a big deal. Other people choose to go out on the wraparound deck to view the fireworks and then continue their meal when they come back inside. Either way is perfectly fine.

I personally thought that CG has a better view of Wishes, but then again, it's a different angle, as well as different ambience so to each his/her own. We also managed to catch the Electrical Water Parade, which, for us, went by an hour before Wishes.

Thank you all for your help. I will make our ressie for around 8:30 and ask for a table by the window. I also like Purpliequeen's suggestion to go out on the deck and watch it and then come back in to finish our meal if we need to do that. Can't wait, this will be our first time to Narcoossee's and from the reviews I've read, I'm sure it won't be our last.
