My Husband and I are headed to Disney in early September for our Anniversary.

I've booked us 2 special dining experiences that Cast members have recommended...I got us one for dinner at Narcoosee's (close to Wishes time) and one at Cinderella's Royal Table for Breakfast (very early am)

Are these good choices...?

We are going by ourselves and don't have kids so I wanted to get everyone's opinions about these choices.

Thanks! :flower3:

Never done the CRT breakfast, but a later evening seating at Narcoosee's should be ideal. It's one of my favorite places because of the view (and fireworks), and the atmosphere--quiet, intimate, and relaxed. Should make for a nice evening. FWIW.

I think Narcoosee's is a wonderful choice but I personally wouldn't do CRT for breakfast, esp. without kids. This is the most popular "character" meal and it will be very noisy and a little chaotic with all of the characters making their rounds and the kids wanted to see their favorite characters. We ate at both Narcoosee's and CRT(lunch) last week and Narcoosee's ended up being our favorite meal ever. It seemed very romantic and the food and service was great. CRT on the other hand was in my humble opinion;) not romantic at all although I have to admit, the restaurant itself was beautiful. The food and service was just ok. If you have your heart set on CRT, I think dinner would be a better option as I have heard it isn't as busy and doesn't have as many kids. I have 3 kids myself so it's not like I don't like kids, it's just that I am thinking in terms of how I would want to spend my anniversary!:flower3:

I appreciate the info. CRT isn't so much the Anniversary meal as Narcoosee's is...I think I really just want to see the inside of the castle! Dinner/Late Lunch reservations were IMPOSSIBLE! I've been calling for months!

But, we all learn as we go, right? :confused3

We took DGD5 to CRT lunch in April. True, the main attraction is the characters, which the granddaughter loved. But the food is good, and how many times in your life will you get to see the inside of the castle? I say, if you want to see the castle, then by all means go.

Good choices! Breakfast in the castle is fine for 2 adults and as you suggest, you do get to see inside. That's good to do at least once, and when you show people your trip pictures of the castle, you can then point out that you actually ate there!

I was curious about this myself so I'm glad to read the OPs inquiry about CRT. DH & I are going in Dec '09; no kids. I so wanted to eat at CRT for dinner as it would just be a magical thing. The characters are nice but my main draw is to be in the inside of the castle with my DH and just be happy. :goodvibes

We just ate at Narcoosee's this past Tuesday night. It was a wonderful meal. The food was excellent and it was very nice atmosphere. Plus you have the great view! I think you'll love it!

As for CRT, I haven't eaten there since my honeymoon in 2001 - so that was before the dining plan. (It was very easy to get a table then - ) It's very pretty in there and if you're lucky, you can get a table by the window overlooking Fantasyland.

In a couple of weeks, we'll be doing just that on our 10th anniversary.

We'll start off the day with an 8:05 am breakfast at CRT -- romantic to me because we'll get to enter the park early & walk down a close-to-empty Main Street and we'll have our anniversary breakfast in the castle!

While the princesses are sweet...I'm there to share the morning with my prince. I also planned the chocolate slipper dessert for him. He's a sweet tooth so I don't think he'll have a problem eatting dessert that early. That is my way of thanking him for my girly morning.

And that night, we'll have our anniversary dinner at Narcoossee's. It is the first time dining there and we're looking forward to the lovely views.

Have fun!
