Narcoosee vs. Yachtsman Steak House

My mom and I are going to Disney this Christmas 2008. We have reservations for Narcoosee and Yachtsman Steak House but we only want to go to one. Which one is a better choice?

We've done both and you won't go wrong with either. We like YSH better but occasionally go to Narcoossee's just for a change.

They are both great but I would give Yachtsman a slight edge over Narcoosee's.

If I had to chose one, it would come down to what park I was going to be at the day of the reservation. If near MK, Narcoosees. DHS or Epcot, Yachtsman.

Either way, you can't go wrong!

The Yachtsman still prepares all of their food fresh daily and hand cuts their steaks. I can say the menu on the Dis is not accurate - the menu changes regularly due to seasonality.

We recently went to both and as previously stated you really can't go wrong with either. I would give a very slight edge to Yachtsman.

We had this same dilema for our upcoming honeymoon and decided the only way to decide was to simply go to both We've dined at both so we know what to expect, it was just tough to choose...

I guess we're in the minority. We ate at Narcoossee's in June of 2007 and were not impressed. My sister and I had lobster which we did not care for, and my mom's fish dish was poorly prepared as well. We LOVE Yachtsman Steakhouse and have gone twice (with a third trip planned this coming May). However, I prescribe to the philosophy that everything on the DIS is trampled on at what time or another, so take my experience with a grain of salt! We will probably try this one again one day, especially given that many people on here seem to think it nearly as good as YSH.

We have eaten at both of these several times and prefer Yachtsman over Narcoosees.
