So, I joined the Patina group birthday club and have my $30 certificate in my email. One of the places I can use it is Naples. I was looking at their menu online (http://www.patinagroup.com/restaurants/43/menus/Naples-ristorante-Menu.pdf) and am confused about their pizza pricing. They list three sizes, 10" individual, 20" Large, and 1/2 meter ‘Family’. It then has pricing in this format next to the pizzas themselves, like this: Margherita Mozzarella, basil 17/28/38.

Soooo... my question is this: how big is the 1/2 meter 'Family'; I'm not highly versed on the metric system, but I'm pretty sure that half of a meter is slightly less than 20". Anyone with personal experience here?

I had been perplexed by this too. I believe the family size pizza is actually rectangular shaped. If then it has a sufficiently long perpendicular side, the total area of that rectangular pie could be greater than the 20" large. Anyway, I think we just ordered the 20" large for our family of 4 when we used my Patina birthday e-mail. I had a cup of soup and DH had a small salad too, and we had more than enough food for our group.

Can you please tell me more about this birthday club. Sounds like something I'd like to join.

Is there an expiration date on the certificate?

do you need to have a reservations at Naples and Tortilla Joe's OR can you just walk-in?

do you call the restaurant directly?

Ah! A different shape would explain it. The area of a 20" circle would be about 314 sq inches, while a half-meter square would be 387 sq inches. So, about a 73 square inch difference (which would be able the equivalent of ordering a 10" and a 20")... interesting... Thanks!:thumbsup2

How long did it take till you got your certificate? I singed up a few weeks ago (my bday is in July) but I never got anything. I was not sure if I was supposed to get something in the mail or by email.

you will recieve the certificate the last week of the month prior to the month your birthday is in.

example..your birthday is in july, you should get the certificate the last week of june.

the certificate is sent by email.
