Has anyone been to either one? We are heading out west in a few weeks. I picked up the California Tourism book and they were mentioned in there. I was looking for something fun and different. I read that Naples has gondolas! Any reviews? Mother's Beach is supposed to be for little ones; a milder beach. I will have to look for directions to it. They are supposed to be close to each other in Long Beach.
Any opinions would be appreciated! We are hoping to go to Disneyland/California Adventures for 2 days. Maybe go to Big Bear; take a hike; tobaggon sled/ water slide for 1 day. Another day for Mother's Beach and the gondolas. We are going to be in California for 7 days. So there is a couple of down days planned.
