Naples at DTD

Anyone eaten here? What did you think? Thanks!

Albort and I ate there a few months ago...we both had pizza...I was going to get a medium and he told me the pizzas were big so I got an individual and it was HUGE...I got the 4 cheese but it had goat cheese on it and I dont like goat cheese...I brushed it off and ate the rest:goodvibes ...its a good place to eat...try it:goodvibes !

We really enjoy Naples. My DS always claims that they have the best pizza anywhere. :thumbsup2

We ate there once and would NEVER go back. The food was terrible and way overpriced and the service was the worst! There were a few other tables nearby us complaining as well. It was just awful.

I can't beleive this place is still open! I've had better frozen pizza!

We enjoyed the pizza there- it is more traditional New York style - NOT at all like pizza hut, ceasars, papa johns or those kind of places - so the crust is fresher and not so doughy and the toppings are more "italian" and not so americanized- Just be firm about what you want on it. We thought the service was a little slow and the staff a bit snooty but I would go back. It has a more urban feel than other places at Disney - except perhaps house of blues.

Naples is one of our favorites! It's best to make PS ressies since it tends to get busy in the evenings. We enjoy sitting outside and taking our time with dinner. (some have mentioned slow service, but we haven't had that problem). The portions are huge and the pizza is really good. As mentioned above, it is very traditional, simple pizza with very fresh ingredients. Oh and the house wine is rather good too which surprised my wine loving sister... :goodvibes

this past weekend, we didn't eat at Naples but at Napolini next door. We had a slice of pizza, good thing I like cold pizza because this was room temp, probably not by design.

We ate there on our last trip - April 2006...
The food wasn't bad - I have two picky boys, and they both enjoyed their noodles. I thought the menu was pretty good. I had something like Penne Arrabiata - not the best that I have had, but far from the worst!
The service, however, was AWFUL!!! They sat us outside, in the sprinkly rain, although the inside was half empty (yes - we had PS's), and it took forever to get service. We finally got our own water glasses, and refilled them every time! The manager even got mad at us when we left a *less than stellar* tip for our non-existant waiter!
Unfortunately, I hear that this restaurant group is taking over Alfredo's at Epcot - interesting to see what will happen there!
Despite the bad service, we are planning on going back to Naples this summer :confused3

We have eaten there several times and never had a bad meal. I enjoy eating outdoors and have found their prices and portions pretty reasonable for DTD.

I'm familiar with the Patina restaurants, especially the ones in Downtown LA because of my job, and Naples isn't the best one out of all of them. All the restaurants are expensive but as for Naples, they are definitely overpriced for what they offer.

We did eat there and we tossed out the food they packed for us. My kids love spaghetti but for some reason they didn't like it. My husband also loves calzones but he didn't really like Naples in particular.

We ate there a few years back. I remember the slow service, but we had a HUGE group of people so I had just figured that was why. I didn't care for the pasta I had, couldn't even tell you what it was at this point. DH and DS had pizza and said they liked it. Not sure I'd go back there for those prices to just have pizza. When there are so many cheaper pizza options (including having it delivered to my room! :)).
