NaNoWriMo?

Anyone other than me crazy enough to try that this year? Basically, it's where a bunch of insane people (of all ages) attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in just a month (November 1-30th).

So far I've got....686 words written! Only 49,314 words to go!

You can do it! And even if you don't, that's ok! I tried last year and only got up to like 350 words. School, you know. It gets in the way of everything....

I'm up to 1,013 now and I've come to the conclusion that....even if I don't get the full 50,000....that's ok! I'm going to finish it anyway! Because then I'll be able to go up to people and actually tell them that "Hey! I actually wrote a full 50,000 word story!" and listen as they call me crazy and all that fun stuff.

Only 48,987 words to go!

I have this fanfiction type thing that I've been working on for a year and it only has 21,000 words in it.
I would never make it.

NaNoWriMo is the highlight of my November. Well...except for the last few days. I'm going to Disney then!

I made about 20k 3 years ago. I was quite proud of myself.

It's because it's so early on in the month. There's a ton of people trying to get onto the site.

My advice is to start writing and then upload what you've got once you can log in/sign up.
