Nano or Video?

So are Dell laptops, they even burst into flames. hahaha.
I have two dell laptops in my house. Mine never get hot, let alone overheat. At most they get slightly warm, but that is only after hours and hours of use.

Just do a search on google "dell laptops burst into flames" and it will come up with a good number of articles and pictures about this happening. I'm not saying that all Dells do this, but it has happened.

I would rather get a Mac though, mainly because you can run any operating system you want on them. Plus they have one of the best OS interfaces. And the whole myth about Apples being more expensive is about to be proven wrong, because a Mac Pro is considerably cheaper then the same configuration from Dell or other computer manufacturers.
You can run any operating system on a PC also. Macbok Pro 2000 and a Sony Vaio is 1500 and they have the same specs. If you keep your PC up to date you can connect alot of things and it will start working.

I like the Nano. Video is way too big and the screen is too small. Get the larger gig Nano for extra space.

You can't run Mac OS natively on a PC. Mac Pro costs $2,499 Dell Precision 690 costs $3,448 and have the same specs.

I just googled it and I found these pictures. For those unfamiliar with laptops, that hole is where the battery lives.

dell_fire_2.jpg

Then I got curious and I googled "computers catching fire" and I found this.
iBookFire.jpg
apple ibook.
I also read the article that was with that picture. apple ibook fires

it seems it was a battery issue, like 300,000 batteries were recalled.

But either way...

The battery is the hottest part of a laptop. It can happen to any laptop that is being used without good airflow around the battery.

Video!! Video!! Video!! :cheer2: :cool1: rah rah video!!

haha well..i hope you are satisfied with whatever you get. enjoy it!!

The only problem is that you need to have a PC that has an Intel chip and features SSE2 or SSE3. It doesn't work with AMD chips, and you need to illegally download the Mac OS developer kit. When all this is done there are still some applications that won't work right, such as any Power PC applications. So it might run, but it's not going to be flawless and probably isn't even worth the trouble.

Me too, Mac has been known for it's simplicity. I'd rather have a Mac than a Windows. Screw compatability. Anyway, you guys are forgetting the Linux OS...

*OS X

Unlike Linux and Windows, a Mac is a computer, not an operating system. :confused3
