Nancy Grace is back

I've read her book "Objection" and I love her no nonsense attitude. Last tuesday after watching the investigators I found out she has a live show now. I think its called something like "Nancy Grace: Investigates..."

The episode I caught had her investigating the horowitz case, I don't know about you but I've been keeping up with this one... wow!

I like the format and it definatly delivers the down n dirty crime goods.

Oh, yes. Nasty Grace"less" never lets a fact get in her way of delivering the trash.

The Eagles even dedicated their song "Dirty Laundry" to her at their concert here last week.

I can't watch her. Besides the fact that she annoys me, I spend the whole time trying to figure out what's going on with her hair instead of listening to her.

I think she's been on Court TV with her own show for awhile now. Not exactly everybodys favorite by a long shot! I can take her in small doses.

I saw her the first time on my last Disney trip late at night...I couldn't stand the way I never saw her full right side of her face. It drove me nuts, I don't know how much time I wasted waiting for her to turn her face.

I can not stand the woman, and after seeing her show last week about the missing Woodstock GA woman, I believe she should be in jail for interfering with a police investigation.

She was interviewing several people involved in the case via satellite. When ever the Woodstock police officer would decline to answer a question (usually saying something like it was something they didn't want released to the public) she would start grilling the sister or dad until they answered. Some of this information involved details of the death of the missing womans dog a few days earlier. Now anyone watching knows facts that only her "killer" (assuming she met with foul play and didn't plan her disappearance) and those very close to her would have known.

NG also kept insisting that the missing woman had placed numerous 911 calls, and that in itself showed she was abused by her husband. There are no records of any 911 calls made (according to the police) from any home that either the missing woman or the estranged husband have lived in. There were calls made (not 911) when the missing woman reported a car missing, and it ended up the estranged husband had it.

NG and the sister also kept insisting that the missing woman couldn't have driven her car to WalMart, because of the position it was in the parking space (point out of the space). They insisted that meant it had to of been backed into the spot, and that she couldn't back up well enough. This is the same WalMart I have shopped in since the week it opened. There are no barriers between rows of cars. If a car is not parked in front of you, you can easily pull through, into the adjacent parking space. Only way it could not be done is if one parked in a space that was across from a cart bin.

Anyway my point is that NG doesn't seem to care about giving out false information or information that the police want to keep a secret.

While I joked about her earlier, I agree with you. NG (along with her tabloid cohorts at Court TV) are making a mockery of our judicial system. I'm so thankful she is no longer practicing in the US court system, but she is one of those responsible for creating our "Trial by Media" culture. This type of interference makes it nearly impossible for our trial system to work.

It NEVER helps a victim to lie about the defendant or the details of the case. That concept has never been realized by NG.

You nailed it.

The first time I saw here on CNN Headline News, I wasn't sure if she was for real! I think what she does is formulate an opinion, THEN hears the facts, but then argues why the facts are wrong and why she is right.

I don't know why anyone would go on her show.

She's completely obnoxious. It doesn't matter what the FACTS of a case are, once Nancy Graces decides who is guilty, THEY are guilty and not a thing they do can change that.

She's been on CNN since at least March because she announced when Terry Schiavo passed away on her show.
I got really annoyed with her as she seems to really like to cover the cases where money $$$ is a factor. Hundreds of kids disappear daily and none received the coverage such as in the case of a wealthy high school graduate on holiday. She went on and on and on about the disappearance of Natalie Holloway in Aruba. I feel terrible this happened to this young woman and sorry her family has suffered but Nancy Grace talked about it every night at least until mid August and at the same time those two young children(brother and sister) who's family had been murdered in Idaho (I think) and they had disappeared received basically no air time!!!
I also wondered about her interfering with a police investigation---she just doesn't seem to know when to stop....but then again I do enjoy "tuning in" occasionally to see her chew someone out on National TV!

What really got me was the way she went on an on about the husband. It is very likely the police were making the guy think he was not being suspected, hoping that if he is involved, that he felt confident he got away with it, and might trip himself up.
