guys. i need help.

i have to make a fruit or veggie type food for home ec in a few weeks. and it has to be something we've never made.

any good recipes?

My mom makes these great Onion Tarts. I will have to get the recipe for them. I know the pastry shells are those little already made flaky pastry shells then you bake in the oven for like 5 minutes. Then the filling is more complicated. I know you have to carmalize the onions.

Baked figs,
Ambrosia,
Cherry fritters,
Strawberry baked alaska(or any other type of fruit)
Crostata(apple is the best)


I know a lot more, but they all have alcohol, so you wouldn't be able to do them...
All those you could probably find recipes for on google.
