A lot of people hate snow [including my parents who were both born and raised in New York] but I love it. I wish we could have a white Christmas*

Awwwwww, I love snow too and we get snow a lot in this part of Maryland where I live. Now in the Baltimore region which I am about 3 hours from they don't get that much snow.

Early December is one of the best times to go! Crowds are low, nice weather, and all the Christmas decorations are up. You'll have a blast!
