It's fine, we were wondering why you didn't reply xD Hahah.

Major competition cheering is hardcore tumbling and stunting. :)

For your type of competition cheering, what's the highest level?

6 :D

my coach wanted us to be six this year because of our stunts, but we didnt have enough tumbling :/

so we're just 4

I put cheerleading in the same category as synchronized swimming because it is girls trying to look pretty while doing tricks.

So I'm late, as usual.

1. The skimpy outfits - That's why I play field hockey. We get a polo/polo tank, shorts, and a wrap around kilt. No mess, no fuss, no skin showing that shouldn't be. The only exception is when the ball flies up your kilt. o.O It hurts! And you get a big bruise on your thigh, makes for interesting convo at dinner.

2. Barney was the love of my life until I was like, 5. But I was a late starter on everything save for talking LOL. We saw that show at Universal when I was, like 8? I still say it was cause of my sister, who was like, 3 or 4 at the time.

Yeah. It's really tough to get into level 6. :[

We were lucky we made it into 5! :goodvibes

Sorry I am bringing this back from a couple of pages...but I do believe golf is a sport I sayed multiple people playing at the same time and during tournaments there are 2 at a hole playing together and others on the other 18,swimming is because there are multiple people swimming, diving is artsy like cheerleading, archery is has more than one competing at one time, bmx racing still has more than one competing at one time but I do not consider that an extreme sport its more of a racing one but when they do tricks its extreme and is in its own category, and snowboard is the same as bmx.

I honestly don't think I'm understanding what you're saying..
But yes, those sports can have two teams competing at the same time, but I was referring to when they have one team competing.. so I guess they weren't the best examples.
It doesn't matter if one, two, three, or four team(s) are competing at the same time, its still a sport. There's nothing in the definition of a sport that says there must be two teams competing at once.

WHAT!?!?!
That's one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.
You seriously need stuff to back up what you're saying.

See, I don't really regard cheering as a sport because now it's just too dang dangerous. It is more dangerous than football, I read that in a recent article that now I can't find. :headache:

To me, now it's just an adreniline (sp?) rush. There's nothing sporty about it when you have kids obtaining more catastrophic injuries than anything else.

 Oh no no homeboy.
Trying to look pretty?

Football/Basketball cheerleaders try to get the crowd pumped and interested in cheering for their team.

Competitive cheerleaders are seriously skilled and are showing off their talents.

Being pretty just helps xD
