So, what/who have you named after Disney characters?

We just named our new puppy Belle (after running through TONS of choices) and I know we can't be alone in having a pet named after a Disney character. Or maybe you named your car or something else fun I haven't thought of yet. Do share!

HAH. I was gonna say nope..but then I realized both of our Shih tzu's are.

Jack is after Captain Jack... Calypso after..well..calypso. LOL

We currently have a hamster named Mickey and a guinea pig named Tutter (from Bear in the Big Blue House).
We use to have dogs named Jack and Daisy, and a cat named Pluto (yeah, that was a strange cat).

We almost always named our pets after Disney characters. Our first cat was Sebastian. The two we have now are Dopey and Lucky. And yes, we named our cat after a dog.

Our green budgie is named Buzz Lightyear (Buzz for short).

I had a goldfish I named Nemo because his face reminded me of Nemo, but as he grew I noticed one of his pectoral fins wasn't growing. Apparently I cursed him with the name.

I had a beta fished named Archimedes after the owl in Sword in the Stone. I had a hamster named Daisy after the duck. Another hamster named Jack after Jack Skellington, but he acted more like Jack Sparrow (very funny hamster to watch.)

I currently have a hamster named Belle, 7 goldfish fish named after the 7 dwarfs, and 3 goldfish named after Donald's nephews (Huey, Dewey, and Louie.)

You just reminded me.... several years back someone dumped a pregnant cat out by our barn. She had three kittens that we could watch play off in a distance. They were very funny. We called them Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

My last dog was named Anya, from Anastasia. Not Disney, but a cartoon none the less.

We have 3 cats, Mouse, Tinkerbell and Tigger, we have 2 clown fish that we call Nemo and Marlin, we had a yellow Tang that we called Bubbles, when Bubbles died we replaced her with a purple tang, (they are the same type of fish but have a purple body with yellow fins), we call her Violet, I'm hoping to find a really little Blue Hippo Tang and I'll call her Dory.
We have a dog, not named anything Disney and we have plenty of other fish without Disney names. lol

But a name I am trying to get my wife to approve for our next dog is "Peave"

That way I can introuduce the dog as; This is our pet...Peave.

For some reason she won't let me, I think its cute.

All our cats have been named after athletes, except for Dharma, who came with that name (hence my screen name)

Our car (yes, car) is named Stitch. Its a 2007 Buick Lacrosse, and it looks has big lights and a big mouth, and is blue, like Stitch.

Can't you see how it is Stitch-esque if it were a medium blue?

Other than that, no pets named after Disney characters.

Our pets are named after cartoons. We have two dogs and two cats. None are after Disney cartoons though, Kozmoe the cat is named from Fairly Odd Parents, Veronica the chihuahua is named for the character from Archie and friends, Olivia the cat came home with that name but we liked it, and Chunk whose name is actually Pugsly Archibald (I always wanted a pug whose name is Pugsly, but at the same time I wanted Veronica to have her Archie), he is the youngest family member and was a Valentines present last year. I had also just had surgery on my wrist and was pretty heavily medicated, so I just called him my little chunk, and it stuck. We had a rat three years ago and we named her Candace after Phineas and Ferbs older sister. And lastly whenever my husband and I are blessed with a child we plan to name her Charlotte Arya- we plan to call her Charlie like Good Luck Charlie- so our kid will be saddled with not one but two names from her parents favorite things...

My names are not for pets, but for login password. I need to change mine every 90 days, I use my favorite Disney charters. I found they are easy to remember and fun.

Yes! My girls named our dog (a chiuaua pug mix) Sally. We have another dog named Fenway (super appropriate because DH and I are huge Red Sox fans from Boston). He was rescued and used to his name so there was no way we could change it even if we wanted to.

Depending on which kid you ask our car goes by the name Sally, Dory or Jack!
