On our last trip we tried some chocolates from the UK, and now I am trying to remember the names of them? Hoping I can find some online for stocking stuffers....one had a gel like center, and one had air bubbles in the chocolate, and I think another had caramel? Any helpful hints?

Turkish Delight is likely the one with the gel center (though it's not caramel). The air ones are called Aero and they come regular or with green mint in the middle.

YOU ARE AWESOME!!!! thank you so much! I think we bought 4 in total and I can't remember what we had but they were good!

My hubby is British. They have the best chocolate!

My favorite is Curly Wurly and Flake.

You can usually find it online. Amazon has some sellers. Now that we live in Orlando, it's pretty awesome. Most of the regular stores here carry a section for UK tourists.

Aero (and coffee crisp and smarties - the chocolate kind) are easily found in Canada. Might be easier than getting them from the UK. Turkish delight is not as easily found (mainly at places that import it from the UK).

It won't let me link to a "chocolate" page, so I went to aero, but you can also see smarties, coffee crisp, and Big Turk (which may be like Turkish Delight (from Cadbury, I think) that you had - I don't care for Turkish Delight so I've not tried either).

The Curly Wurly will probably be the hardest candy bar for you to find. We have a specialty candy store at Mayfair Mall in Wisconsin, and that is where I can get the Curly Wurly's. These are my sons favorite candy bars. They also have the Aero bars. The Curly Wurly's are regularly sold out.

I'm from the UK and most of our chocolate you tried was probably Cadbury's but the Turkish delight is made by Fry's and will be in a purple wrapper :) the gellish substance in it is also purpley/pink if that sounds like what you had?

I also highly recommend a twirl if you like British chocolate!

Mmm, Twirl!

BTW, I can't stand Turkish Delights. I don't know what that purple gel is but :crazy2:
My daughter likes it though.

no publix stores up here in Mass, I will be ordering online for Christmas :cheer2:

Where in Mass? If you happen to be near Northborough (or however you spell it) try Wegmans in their international section. My store has probably 12-15 different British candies and chocolates.

UK KitKat bars are soooo much tastier than our American ones. If you ever run into one TRY IT!

hey i ll happily arrange a chocolate exchange... we love american candy (pretzel m and m s are our fav!!) if you re up for it!! not sure if it ll be cheaper tha buying on amazon but you d get more variety lmao!!
pm me if u d like to do an exchange... last time we went to the childrens hospital in the nearest big town i brought 4 american chocolate bars and a marshmallow chicken thing (peep??) and it cost me nearly $30!! rather expensive chocolate (nice tho;)

scojos thanks for the offer!! that is so nice of you! next time I would love to send you some Pretzel M&M's and any other candy you like!
