I have really lived a pretty boring life, compared to most, but here's my short list.
I have:
- Worked for 3 years in an old-fashioned 2 room school with 2 teachers, one teacher's aide (me), 9 grades, approx. 30 students, no bus, no hot lunch, etc. I was often playground supervisor, office help, paper grader, nurse, counseller, secretary, Kindergarten teacher, janitor, etc. It was a lot of fun.

I was sad when the school closed due to lack of revenue.
- Built 8 4-bedroom houses with 8 families in 10 months from the ground up with a Mutual Self-Help Housing Program. We finished fastest on record ever for our area, with no injuries, and we all still like eachother.

- Been married almost 18 years to a man I met when I was 11 years old, and have been best friends with for almost all of the 27 years since then. We dated lots of other people in our teen years, but we always were there for eachother when others were not.
- Driven back and forth across the country - Montana to Florida - by myself in a minivan with only a 5 year old and a turtle to keep me company twice in the space of 6 months. I wouldn't recommend it.

- Played flute in the pit orchestras for productions of
Annie and
Hello Dolly. Don't remember a lot of
Dolly, but still know every word of
Annie by heart.
- Played flute for 10 years in high school and college. Played in Symphonic band, Marching band, Show band (big band style), Pit orchestra, and Pep band (basketball, etc). Competed in state competitions. Once competed in a marching band show with a broken pinky finger that I couldn't bend (somewhat hard to play a flute that way) because it had been shut in the band room door on the way down to the field.
