Name changes???

My 10yo DD is a VMK addict. She has been required to change her name several times now and I'm curious as to why. Anyone know? She just logs in and is told she has to come up with a new name.

What were the names she was required to change? That might give us some insight as to why.

If it was a name VMK saw to be inapropriate, even if most woudn't see it that way, then it would be changed. I also think VMK dislikes people who use actual Disney names in their titles, like Triton, Dumbo, etc.

Had she been playing under that name for awhile and then she was asked to change her name or was the name never approved?

If it is something inapropriate, it may have to be changed. I wish I can change mine. People call me "Dude" Some ppl call me "AllisonDude" My real life friend calls me "All is on or All is sun" My real title is "AllisonDude" I wish I can change it to "Duette" or however you spell it. I did get in one fight where someone said I'm a dude.
I was like "Uh I have a dress on do boys wear dresses? no" I ignored her, she was mean to me bc she wouldn't show something for a trade. What's wrong with ppl? Why can't they call me by my full title. I even put that in my sig: "title me AllisonDude not Dude!" But there isn't any room bc of "Life is a highway I'm gonna ride it all night long" is in there.

Come to think of it, they have all been Disney-type names. She started out as MinnieLuvr (1st day, I was the one who signed up) and she used that a long time, then she's been made to change, using things like PirateTink, MissStitch, etc. Maybe if she chooses one without a character name in it?

Trouble is she's mildly autistic, so VMK is her life at the moment and she's really being frustrated by the change (autistic kids don't do change well )

Ok the MinnieLvr was probably for Minnie and Lover parts-
PirateTink and MissStitch- I have no idea why they didn't allow many have Tink and Stitch- so unless she just tried to and it was never approved then that I can understand- it could be she had a guest name and then it told her to change them because someone already has them

I know they don't like things with Mommy and Baby in them either- my youngest was BabyMckey (his dad is mckey) and he had the name for about 6 months and then had to change it

It took me more than a month and about 6 different tries before I got my original name.

And being mildly autistic she will in good company- many of our Dis VMK kids are autistic or have Asperger's Syndrom- my oldest has Aspergers but doesn't play VMK... So many understand the frustrations.
