Name Change?

Hi everyone
My fiance and I are going to Disney next month for our honeymoon. We received our Magical Express boarding passes and they have my married name on them but the flight we booked is under my maiden name. I won't have my license changed by the time we leave so will this be a problem at Disney? We did try to change my name on the reservations to my maiden name a few months ago but I guess they didn't do it. Should we just call Disney? Thanks!

Hi there! I'm from Maryland as well!!! I would suggest calling them and asking if it would be okay. I don't think they would virtually look at your i.d. as long as you have your ME ticket vouchers. But I could be wrong. I think you should just give them a call.

I have had that problem as well. Once, they put DF last name as my last name on my ME voucher. They didn't once look at my ID, they just stamped my voucher.

If the ressie is made is his name (with his last name on his voucher) it won't matter what last name is on your's....

The only thing you need to make sure is that your ID (DL or State ID) matches your airline ticket. You should be fine w/ Magical Express.

It was a real bummer on my honeymoon to not be able to sign in with my "new name".

If you have stuff with both, why not make a copy of your marriage license and bring it along (you probably won't get your marriage certificate for a couple of weeks)

Thanks everyone! The reservations are in his name so I'm not going to worry about it anymore. I was thinking I'd bring along a copy of the marriage license just in case though. Thanks again!

I never changed my name. We sometimes run into issues with people who refuse to use my last name. For example MIL won't use my last name, and I have had to pick up packages at the post office. People have written checks to me with his last name, etc... I keep a copy of my marriage license on hand, and have never had a real problem with it.

I just called to change the name on our reservations and they say I have to pay £50.00 to do it Think I may leave it as it is!
