When we were at Disney Land in 2006 we got my dd's name done in princess letter. Each letter was painted to be a different princess. It was so adorable and I have never been able to find it again at WDW. Since I have had 2 ore kids since 2006 I was wondering if they still do it there? does anyone know?

We had something like that done last year. I believe it was in Fantasyland. Our says "To all who come to this happy place, Welcome". I love it, but can't find a frame to fit. This year when we go back, I am picking up the frame!

They still do the Disney name art!

Actually, they have several different sizes, formats, and styles you can choose from. We have our two kids' pieces done with a character for each letter in their names. We've also bought a few gifts where the character is just the first letter. I think they're beautiful

They are located in Fantasyland, but there is a satellite location at Downtown Disney, too.

I have one that I have been waiting to frame as well that we got back in November. My sister has one for my nephew on his wall and I asked where she got the frame, she got it at Ikea for super cheap. Hers came with a matte and if you're like me, you didn't get the matte either, so you may just need to get that at Michaels or somewhere like it.

Yes! I just saw the one in DTD last week. It's in a kiosk near WOD. I had my dh's first initial done as Captain Jack Sparrow last year and he loved it! I bought a picture from Ross, took out the pic and used the frame and matte. That was the cheapest way to go with the best looking frame and matte.

Thanks, I'll keep looking until I get there. It is really long, and kinda narrow. Just really awkward! I really love it though, and want to hang it up.

My girls both have one with a character for their first initial and then the rest of their name. DD12 has Cinderella as her "J" and DD15 has Tinkerbell for her "C", they are super cute! We had them done in DL over near the Matterhorn, where they used to have the boats you could "drive" in the water. We had theirs matted but we do not have them framed.

We bought just the first initial of our last name in November at the stand in Fantasyland. I haven't framed it yet but it is on my to do list.

These aren't very good shots, but here is my dh's name with the first initial as Jack Sparrow:

Ok so here is my next question.. he he.. I haven't been since 2006 since we moved back to the East Coast from CA. IS this something you can call and order or do you have to buy them in the park. When we went to WDW I was so excited cause I wanted to buy 2 more.. and they did not have them :confused3

Oh gosh!! This being bumped reminds me that I forgot to unload the pictures I took of dd's name art that I said I would post for you! Let me find that darn cord and I'll post hem for you!

For the phone ordering, I thought I read on another thread that it was not possible, but don't take that as fact. I'll look into it or I'll be there in 2 weeks, I can get more info in person!

Mine is right above my head, and I adore that darn thing!
Mine is Aurora, Ariel, Tink, Snow White, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine and then Alice.
Rochelle, they have a ton you can choose from. The little hut is next to the face painting across from the entrance to the matterhorn, right on the water front. Nemo ride is to the right if facing the water (face almost towards small world). They do an amazing job, we have about 5-6 in our house!

if ANYONE is going and wants to do me a HUGE favor and get 2 names does for me. I will pay for them and also send something extra so you can get something for yourself at Disneyland! I had twins last year so I don't think I will be going to CA from the East Coast soon(although. I am trying to convince DH) But I would love to get the twins' names does cause their big sister has one!

I'll do this for you! I'll be there the 24-26th. PM me your kids' names and the exact spelling, etc. Based on what I paid in November for my DD's, I think I can figure out about how much it will be.
