That article says "Investigators still have to figure out why Apgar, who police said was naked and smoking crack at the time of the attack, was attacked by the alligator. " Hmm, lets think about this for a second. What is there to figure out? Was the gator mad because the man didn't share his crack pipe?

I just wanted to point out that people actually jet ski, fish, and water ski in this lake. So it's very important that if there is a gator who isn't afraid of people, that it's removed. Personally, I love to waterski, but there is no way I'd be daring enough to do it in Florida.

Well, I hope and pray he doesn't die and can recover and that something good can come from this, that he beats his addiction.

It's very sad when anyone is attacked by an alligator, even someone high. I'm glad the alligator was killed.

This thread is kind of sad to me. Everyone is joking and laughing at the fact that someone almost died and some actually feel sorry for the alligator.

the article I read in the paper today said he passed out on the shore after his crack binge. the alligator went up and chomped him, dragging him into the water to death roll him.

the poor gator was only thinking 'that's the biggest pig I've ever seen!' crackboy is still in critical condition, they don't know if he's going to live.
