Planning our first trip in awhile and our kids are all old enough for the childcare clubs.

We want to have a "grown up" meal. We are foodies and are reluctantly not going to try V&A this trip. Obviously these aren't in the same league, but we are looking for which restaurant would have the best combo of food and atmosphere.

So what would you recommend for a meal that will feel grown up and have great food?

Thanks!!!

You're going to get people telling you that all of them are good!

I've only been to Artist's Point out of those, and I loved it. Great atmosphere, wonderful food, a definite step up from most of the table service restaurants, particularly with the dining plan.

Have you looked at the menus yet? You may be able to eliminate someone based on that. Allears.net has menus for all the restaurants, and they're updated pretty often.

Thanks!

I did -- all three look interesting in different ways. I might give a slight edge to Artist's point on some of the food items, but Nacroossee's menu looks great too and seems like it might be more romantic?

Oh, and I don't know if it will alter the calculus for anyone, but we'll be off the dining plan this trip.

I have eaten at all and I would rank them: Citricos, Artist Point and then Narcoosees. If you aren't on dining plan I would rank bluezoo and Bistro de Paris above the Disney places.

:thumbsup2 to all three. Citrico's is my favorite, Artist Point and Narcoossee are more casual but both have great food.

Citrico's is the best of the 3. Nothing remotely romantic about Narcoossee's--high ceilings, wood floors, kids everywhere.
Blue Zoo and Shula's are excellent spots, as is the Bistro. Il Mulino if you like Italian.

We love Nacroossee's and we have been to all of the signature restaurants. I think its very romantic, especially because the beautiful wrap around deck on the water provides a perfect view for the evening fireworks and EWP if timed right. The food is excellent and the service top notch. :thumbsup2

If you are foodies, then definitely try Citricos. Artist's Point and Narcoossees are larger and louder, and they are not as intimate as Citricos.

I would chose either Citricos or Narcoossee because the kids club at the GF is awsome and you kids will have a blast. Either one of the restraunts are a wonderful choice, it depends on if you want a seafood focused or not. :thumbsup2
