Nacoosees vs Citricos

Tell me, which would you choose?

If it is a "toss up", then I want to try Narcoosees, as we have never been there. We dined at Citricos only once, and it was many years ago, and we LOVED IT. I am just one of those people that wants to try EVERY restaurant at WDW, and stay at EVERY resort at least once.

I am excited, I got a PIN code in the mail, so we are staying at the GF for one night...my 42nd birthday. It is still way more expensive than I would like to spend on a hotel room, but like I said, I want to stay at every resort at least once and I thought this was the best chance I had, so I grabbed it!

What is bad about Narcoosees? Or is it just that Citricos is THAT much better?

I have been to, and love the both of them but one thing separates them apart and that is location.

Narcooses wins that one hands down.

Hmmm..so when you say "location" you mean because it is cool how it sticks out over the water?

Maybe we will sit at the bar at Narcoosees, have a cocktail and a light app...then go to Citricos? I am so torn. Just one night at WDW, it is a special occasion...I want it to be GOOD. I also want to stay on GF property.

(Don't even THINK of suggesting V&A! We dined there once, for our 10 year anniversary. Would love to do it again, but OUCH at the price! Not that it is not worth it, but already spending too much $$$ staying at the GF, even w/a PIN!)

Unless it's pouring, then Citrico's location beats Narcoosee's. We went to Citrico's for the first time ever last summer. We had a reservation for Narcoosee's but the rain was CRAZY. As we drove from the AKL to the GF, cars and buses were throwing bigger wakes than the boats on the lagoon. From getting the car from the valet at AKL to the table at Citrico's, we didn't get a drop on us. But from Citrico's, we watched people wade through calf-deep water on the path back towards Narcoosee's.

Narcooses gets my vote! We ate there last month and enjoyed it so much we ate there a second night. (Heck I would have gone a third time even!) Food, service, and atmosphere were great. If you can get a reservation about an hour and a half before the fire works you should be almost done before they begin and they pipe the music right outside. Go stand on the balcony and have the perfect ending to your birthday dinner.

Citricos far outshines Narcoossee's. Much better food and much better service. I just make my ADR early enough so that when I'm done eating I can walk down to the dock in time to watch the fireworks.

Here is my opinion. Narcoossee's has much better food. Narcoossee's outshines Citricos and offers a better menu and has better service. The location is far better than Citrico's. All of this is 10x better than Citricos.

I guess my point to all of this is when it comes to restaurants we all have opinions. I enjoy Citrico's, but Narcoossee's is my favorite restaurant in WDW.

I am sitting here, laughing. YOU PEOPLE ARE KILLING ME!

I should know better than to ask for opinions. For instance, I hated Fultons and Kouzzina...and many people put both of those places at the TOP of their lists! I do appreciate everyone's input. I am going to think about it, ask DH< etc. Thank you so much for all the input!
