Nachi, Mr. Sanchos, Paradise Beach, or Playa Mia???

We did Nachi twice with our kids and it was amazing. Good food, nice service and not crowded (I absolutely hate crowds). It was an amazing day at the beach. The kids enjoyed both the ocean and the pool.

We've been to both playa mia and paradise on separate trips. No complaints about either.

The Paradise Beach website does say that there is a $10 minimum - it's in the FAQ. Probably not the first place people look for billing information, but it is available:
We were there in November. The waiter mentioned the $10 minimum but I didn't catch the per person part. I think we spent $30-40 for 3 people but it was a coincidence. I didn't realize $30 on food was expected. I just thought it was $10 for all of us. It was easy to hit it though.

Has anyone been to Mr. Sanchos? I think we are going to end up leaning towards there or Nachi. We are really liking the idea of a limited amount of people.

We've done Mr. Sanchos and Nachi. Neither seemed to get crowded. I know Nachi has the maximum guest policy which most people like. Both are kid/family friendly. We enjoyed the private cabanas and included massage at Mr. Sanchos, slightly more.

Really liked Cozumel. Thought Paradise Beach was a steal. $2 to get in and tasty lunch for about $25 for two. Nice change rooms, lovely pool, good beach. Not crowded, laid back, and servers were friendly and not pushy at all.

Had drinks (iced tea/lemonade) at a lovely place on main street overlooking water down where you book tours. Was sure there would be a cover or nacho charge. But no, it was just $5 for the two drinks. Nice surprise.

We loved Nachi. Food and drink were good and plentiful. My kids loved both the beach and the pool. There were nothiing saying the pool was adults only, though the hot tub seemed to be that way.

How is the quality of the sand at Nachi? I thought I read in a review that it wasn't very good.

When were you there? It sounds like your experience may be a bit dated.

It was fine and soft when we were there last August. I'd imagine it can be variable due to storms, etc. The beach was very clean and had no debris anywhere.

We have been to Mr Sanchos several times and would highly recommend it. The employees are friendly, service is quick, food and drinks are plentiful and delicious. There is a ton of stuff to do that is included in the entry fee, also a ton MORE stuff to do at nominal fees (massages, horseback rides, jet skiing, snorkeling, etc). We've been there with 4 other ships and never had a crowd. We have never had a problem catching a taxi to/from the port and they remember our family every time we return. I don't even think you'd need a cabana, the beach chairs and tables are plentiful. If you do go, make sure you have some of the coconut ice cream, the pescado entero and the Tamarind margarita!

Would any of you that have been to Paradise Beach happen to remember how much the cab ride was?? Just trying to gauge how much USD to take with us. Thanks a lot :)

I went to Mr. Sanchos in January 2014 and we really enjoyed our day. I think there were 4 ships in port total and we got chairs that were completely off by themselves. There was a family about 50 feet away that provided some, um, entertainment later on as a few of the adults might have been hitting the all-inclusive drinks a little too hard (nothing crazy or not family-friendly - just some incidents that provided my mom and me some laughs). I'm a vegetarian and I thought the food was great. It was a little chilly for us to be in the water, but the water activities looked super fun.

I think we negotiated a taxi fare for $8 each way for two people?

I have to revive this one... Anyone been recently?

We were at Paradise two years ago: Lovely very large pool, but did not like the beach at all - the sand was super coarse and you would sink in with every step... I didn't expect that since Cozumel and Playa Carmen on the mainland do have stretches of sugary white sand that is packed hard (and easy to walk along) at the water line... but not there... unless it was storm related?
