Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has been to Nachi Cocom recently? My husband mentioned wanting to use paddle boards and I was hoping they rented them, but I can't find a picture of the rentals that they do.

Also, how was your visit? We have a 6 and 4 year old who will be with us and then 4 adults.

We went in 2013 and loved it! All we did was stay on the beach all day, ate some pretty good Mexican food, and drank a lot lol. We didn't try any other activities, so I can't comment on paddle boards or anything. I would do this again. There was practically no one on the beach, maybe about 6 other families.

Yes, they definitely do have paddle boards. That is as of January. We stay every year at the resort next door and our friend rented one. She just walked over to Nachi and rented it. She was able to get it at a lower price than what they quoted her.

When we were there in 2014 we rented Paddle Boards and jet-skis. Fun! We have had kids with us around your kids age and we had a great time. The only thing that is harder is that the pool is not zero entry and there is no life guard on duty. I might recommend bringing a life jacket or arm floaties (check if they allow them). Generally my kids had the pool to themselves. They enjoyed the beach too.

We've been twice, 2nd time was a few weeks ago. Echo what the others have said - yes they have a paddle board, there aren't many people there, the pool is usually pretty empty (a big change after being on the ship), and a few people do a lot of drinking. I've never seen belligerent drunks, but there are usually a few people having a really good time (myself included).
