Sorry if someone had already posted this, but just came home from the Disney Store at Vaughan Mills and discovered that the $242.82 price I paid for a 7-day base ticket in March for our October trip is now $296 and change. The CM couldn't tell me when the prices were increased, but she said "just recently"...

Good news though is that there were a lot of red-tagged items in the store that were entitled to another 40% off. They had a lot of Minnie costumes for sizes 2/3 and 5/6 that were $50 originally but were red-tagged for $12.99 so final price would be $7.79 + tax.

I was at the Bayshore Ottawa store last night and the manager told me the prices went up yesterday. They still do not have any tickets and haven't had any for three weeks. I explained to her that it was unfair that they kept advertising something the didn't have and then raise the prices. The increase is approximately $65. per ticket for a 5 or 7 day hopper. Since I need 6 adult tickets the increase is $384.00. I asked who I should complain to since I was ready to buy three weeks ago and have called three times a week to see if tickets had arrived. Iwas originally told they would have tickets that week. She told me to write to WDW guest services, which I have. My sister who is not a disney fan stated that Disney deliberatly did not have tickets in stock so that they could increase the cost.
