A friend of mine just asked me an interesting question about MYW tickets I have never heard before. Being the frugal person he is, he has figured out it is cheaper to buy a 7 day MYW base ticket rather than a 4 day MYW ticket with Park Hopper option. Will Disney allow him to use up 2 days on his ticket so that he can visit 2 parks in one day? Has anyone else done this?

The tracking is done through the design of the computer system.

The computer is only capable of taking off ONE DAY from your ticket per operating day.

So if your ticket does not allow hopping, and you tried to use it at two different parks, the computer wouldn't release the turnstile because it would read that the ticket had already been used, but NOT at that park, and the ticket didn't allow hopping.
