MYW+Free dining. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, here's the deal. We have AP's. But can save money by getting the MYP+free dining. We just have to buy a one day pass per person, which we don't plan on using since we have AP's. Can you upgrade a one day pass to a Seasonal AP and only pay the difference? Thanks.


****Edited: I don't want to activate the one day tickets yet, is that possible, or will they automatically be activated when we use the meal plan? Our AP's don't expire until Sept. 17(we go labor day) and we can't afford to upgrade for a couple of months(so we can't renew our current passes.)

Yes. I haven't done it but what has been explained to me is that it's value can be applied to an AP.

I plan on doing just that when we go in Oct. We didn't get the free dining, but I figured even paying for it was worth it. I bought the 1 day pass and plan on upgrading to APs the first day we get in.

From what I have read, I don't think that your tickets get activated until you use them for the first time. I think I read something before that said you can ask the front desk at check in to give you a voucher for your ticket instead of putting the ticket on your room key. With a one day pass, you don't want to use them at all if you are going to upgrade. Once you activate them, you won't be able to apply the cost towards the AP. Just go right to guest services with your voucher and upgrade. Anyone else know this? I don't want to mislead anyone.
