I can't seem to find a list of what is available for the Snack with the MYW plan.
Are the snacks only bought at the counter service places, or can we buy from the carts? Can the carts swipe the cards that have the dining info on them? At one cart near the castle I bought the kids Mickey Ice Cream Bars in Dec. and I had to pay in cash only.

I'm hoping Dole Whip or something is considered a snack. Anyone have a list?

I asked this too and didnt get too much of a response. Its confusing when you look at the list. For example it has boarwalk bakery, well can you get a danish , donut etc. for a snack. My ds was asking me, heah is a turkey leg considered a snack. I think one of those places was listed. Also how can disney differentiate between the value of a snack. All I see referenced is popcorn, ice cream etc. In Mexico for example, does a churro count as a snack. Maybe someone can help you out.

When I asked my TA about this, she said that the ONLY options Disney has explicitly stated are : Med drink, bottled drink, popcorn, and novelty ice cream. She said the counter service restaurants listed were on the list soley because they have drinks available. So far, turkey legs, muffins, cookies, Dole Whips, pretzels, etc., have NOT been listed as acceptable snack items.

But, Disney is constantly changing the plan, so they might add some of these items at a later date. :smooth:

Just so you know, those kiosks which used to be cash only, now have swiping availability.

Why can't they just put a dollar amount on the snack option? Just say the snack has to be $4.00 or less. That will cover drinks, popcorn, ice cream, candy apples, dole whips, school bread...

Boy I'm getting hungry.

Churos are not that much money, yet they aren't on the snack list.Hope they add more snack options.

The snacks included are:

frozen ice cream novelty, popsicle, or fruit bar
single serving box popcorn
single piece of whole fruit
single serving grab bag of Frito Lay chips
20 oz. bottle of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite
24 oz. bottle Dasani water
medium fountain soft drink or apple juice

I think they now have signs posted stating if it's a snack item location. Disney figured out there was confusion, so they are trying to make it easier on us!

I read that some people used Mickey rice krispie bars as snacks.

Way back when they first put out info on the plan, they mentioned cookies as a snack, but when they posted the brochure, cookies were not listed. maybe that's why people are able to get Mickey crispir bars. A friend of mine recently stayed at ASM with the dining plan. She said that her family was able to get all sorts of things for snacks including fruit salad and Mickey Crispies.
