MYW Dining and park passes question

I am planning a 2 night trip to AKL and wanted to add on the dining plan. I have been trying to get a price on the Disney website but am running into problems. It is giving me an error message when I try to add the dining option. It tells me to look over my preferences. I think the problem may be because I only want to purchase a 1 day park ticket. Does anyone know if there is a minimum number of days on a park ticket that is required to add the dining plan?

The minimum park ticket is 2 days. You could book a 5 night stay with dining and a 2 day ticket if you want, but you can't just get a 1 day ticket.

Call Disney and make the reservation with a live operator. It can be done. I have split resort reservations, 2 days at Poly with 10 day tixs (no expir) and 2 days at AKL with 1 day tix (expir) with dining on all 4 nights.
