Hi,

If I get a Magic Your Way package, it comes with length of stay tickets, right? Are those vouchers you turn into tickets at the gate, or are they coded to your key? And can I do a package where I'm length of stay for the dining portion, but get a shorter number of days on a ticket, in case I want to spend a day shopping or something?

And finally, on Mousesavers, they have packages that say they are available from 'x' date to 'y' date. But if my stay is beginning between 'x' and 'y', but I'm leaving AFTER 'y', can I still get the package?

Thanks much,

Hi KCMiller, You've asked lots of questions and I will answer what I can. Others will fill in the blanks, I'm sure.
There are no longer "Length of Stay" passes. The Magic Your Way ticket scheme allows you to purchase base tickets for as many (or as few) nights as you like. The more nights, the cheaper it is per night. You then add on features that work for you (The "Your Way"). If you like to park hop, you can add a park hopper option, if you like the "extra" parks and perks, you add plus features, if you want the tickets to be good for longer than 14 days, you add the no expiration features. Each addition is a per ticket cost.
The DDE card and the current MYW Dining are 2 different programs. The DDE offers a 20% discount at many restaurants to select groups - AP holders and I think DVC owners.
The MYW Dining option is a program offered for "package" guests. To qualify as a package, you reserve your on-sight room, a park pass of at least one day and the dining option. The dining plan is for all of the nights of your stay, and all folks in the room must be on the same plan. So you can have less park pass days, but your meals are for the nights you are staying. Each person receives one Table Service (TS) meal of appetizer, entree and desert, one Counter Service meal consisting of entree and desert, and one snack credit per person per night. So for a party of 4 staying 5 nights you would receive a total of 20 TS, 20 CS and 20 snack credits, which can be used anyway you wish. So to answer your question, you CAN have a smaller number of park days than you room reservations and (must) have the dining package the same number of nights as your reservation.
Finally, if you check in during the x-y period, your discount/plan is good for your entire stay, even if your departure is after "y".
I'm sure others will have clarifications and additions, but I hope this helps.
Have a Great Trip!
