MYW basic pass question

I have a 3 day MYW basic pass (no park hopping/no other options). If, for example, I go to the Magic Kingdom and then mid-day go back to my hotel (Pop Century) and then return later in the day, would I be using 2 days out of my 3 days??

no, just get your hand stamped as you exit for return later the same day.

No, not if you return to MK. They will not allow you to use the same day or another day at another park without the park hopper option.

edited to add: And I'm being told they no longer hand stamp, that the finger scan takes care of that.

Since your not park hopping try to take advantage of the early morning or extra evening hours so you can return and visit the park that offers it for that day/evening to get the most out of your ticket.

You may leave and enter the same park on the same day... no problem. They no longer stamp hands when you leave, though. You will just need your ticket to get back in!
