A big HELLO to you :cheer2:

How has life been???

We have to get together some time and rehash the "good Ol' days".

I have not heard from Barry is a very long time but i was out of the loop for a long time myself.
We have to get Rangebob, Rocketman23, and the rest of the group from the MG meet together sometime to share the squid and the pork brains. :smooth:

Gee, I've been out of the loop too, can I come? I seem to recall being part of the gang from the Glory days...! :teeth:

So does this mean no more warm, gooey, chocolate banana cake???? OH NO! :rotfl2:

Well there you have it...THIS could be a reason Barry might have had a hissy fit (not saying he did...I mean, the dude did Fear Factor at HHN!), or at the very least, it's a good clue as to why he might be gone!!!!

IMO, the mystery is solved, either way! :smokin:

I've never eaten at Mythos, so what do y'll recommend?
My vote goes to the Risotto of the Day. I've NEVER been disappointed and I've eaten at Mythos many, many times.

But, I miss the Corvina :sad2: (Chilean SeaBass, no longer on the menu)

I loved the lobster corn bisque. I'm not a big soup lover, but that one was a little bowl of perfection.

Oh, the Corvina. That was one of the best meals I've ever had anywhere and I go out to eat often! That Corvina with the yummy broccoli rabe was the BEST!

I've always wanted to eat here but yeah, it's usually closed. And we don't usually schedule a sit-down during our day. I have to eat here next time.. the closest I've come is climbing onto the rocks and peeping through the windows.

The Corvina was the first dish i ever had at MYTHOS. OMG what a taste treat.
MsDis and i were there 2/3/06 and had the Rissoto of the day which had 3 individual lambchops and was a spinich rissoto with a rum/tereyaki sauce. Mushrooms, pearl onions julienned veggies. It was just fantastic.

I love all the risotto dishes at Mythos but that one sounds particularly delicious! I've had different risottos that featured chicken, beef and pork which all were very good, but never lamb. We'll be back in April; maybe I'll get lucky. ;)

that risotto sounds like it needs to be added to the regular menu. wow. if IOA only had some theming and *MAGIC* I might try it.

mcbean, you silly goose.............mythos does not need magic

magic is saved for the hamburgers at the other place............
:rolleyes1

I also had the risotta with the lampchops this past weekend. What a great dish! It was hands down the best meal we had the entire five days. Even better than my shrimp and filet at the Palm (and probably 1/3 of the price!)

MIB999999 and I are planning on going back on Thursday and I told him, if they had the SAME risotto, even though I really don't dig lamb...I would STILL order it, give him my lamb and enjoy the heavenly risotto/sauce, etc. It was THAT good! I tried though, but I guess I just don't care for lamb...

I WAS happy they had my tortilla soup though, and that sauce on the risotto was to DIE for!!!

Is there a really good place to sit in the restaurant like NBA City on the second floor? Is there a view of the lagoon from Mythos? :cool1: :thumbsup2  pirate: :moped: :woohoo: :clown:  :3dglasses :dancer: :rockband: :drinking1 :jester: :jumping1: :charac4: :yoda: :chewy: :darth: :ewok: = party:

yes, you get a awesome view of the lagoon since it really sits right on it...there's also outdoor seating practically on the water.
